Dang never paid attention that the heat gun didn't have nuts I use the craftsman drill holder but I'm definitely doing this hack👍🏽

They probably didn't purchase on so someone didn't clip the heat gun on their belt when it was hot. I'm sure some people would.

so can i use the versstrack clips as kinda belt clip. I can't find belt clips that have the 2 notches instead of one big notch

You could. But, I think the reason they don't want you to use these, is because someone will eventually put it on their belt clip while hot!

Wonder why they didn't punch the holes out on the head gun for the belt clip or the versatrac clips 🤔 seems kinda lazy from craftsman aka Stanley 🤔

Someone mentioned that they probably didn't want people to hang a hot tool like this on their belt. That makes sense.
