This video is showing the Installation Of Advan Black Extended Gas Tank And Dashboard & Gas Cap on my 2022 Harley Davidson Road Glide. The install was very simple and required only a few tools. Advan Black is a great company and I love their products. The extended gas tank gives my bike a sleek and sexy look.

I have the lower fairing on my Roadglide they help a lot with the wind and protect you from getting hit by rocks.

Lower fairing cut down on wind, cold and help when caught in the rain on long rides. They look good too.

I like the direction you want your bike to go in ,it looks great and I think the lower faring also will add to your bike and the fat Tire package is of the chain.

Absolutely add the lower fairings if you like them. I've had them on my last 3 Road Glides. I get out on the open road and they are very functional. I think I am adding the extended tank and the console.

LOOKS GREAT NICE JOB BROTHER!!! SPEND THAT MONEY!! LOL I never like the lowers but I am starting too!! Yes they will cut down some of the wing coming up from the bottom of the gas tank!! To stop all that wing from coming up you need the lower fork leg faring piecies not sure if they will fit on a glide though!!

Looking good man. Check out the Fang fairing for the front. It’s a must for the road glide. And it goes with the chopped engine guard. It’s stock on CVO. Check it out. It comes pre painted from Harley.

I purchased the gas tank cover. What do you think about putting a thin cushion adhesive strip on the main tank to help absorb movement from the cover and scratching? Was it any room under the cover to put between the two pieces (cover/tank)?

I didn’t have to do anything like that but it’s worth giving it a try. Some extended tanks require glue and scratching up the tank. Advanblack is simple cover and tighten. I don’t get much movement at all

Definitely changes fit. I’m 6’2 and it helps tremendously. I prefer practicality over looks to be honest.💪🏽

Do find the flush fit gas cap difficult to open or close, with or without gloves?

Looks great. I just subbed to your channel. Looking forward to following. By the way, I have an Ultra Limited which has the lower fairings and they seem to help with wind protection. They also have an adjustable vent that allows more air to flow when needed. I haven't noticed any noise.

I want to know what happens when you fill the bike up with gas to the bream. Let us know if has spills out the top because, I would think it has to be vented to allow gas to stay in the tank. Fill it up and let us know.

i think the rubber seal is on backwards on the top low profile center part.

@@ridefitnation yeah you would have less seal on the outside if you swapped them around. wider side of seal goes on inside. you would see less seal is all. still looks good.

I didn’t do that. It was that much heat applied to have to do that.

It's just a tank cover so no issues at all.

I paid $38K for my 2020 Street Glide Special and I feel the same way you do about Harley Davidson. Love the bike but analog lights?! No bag protection?! No audible alarm horn?! These 3 things were all less than $200 and HD could add them to a $38K bike?! How about an oil cooler fan? Too much money I guess for a $38K bike. Ridiculous
