Made it look easy, but not so much in my case, I’m an aircraft mechanic and used to hardjobs, but when you get stuff from China be prepared to start from scratch. Received the fender, it looked twisted, but I proceeded, took muffler off, took off air cleaner assembly, put fender on for a trial fit, naturally it rubbed the tire because it was twisted, probably came out of the mold hot and was put on a shelf and it twisted as it cooled.? I heated it over a gas stove where it was twisted, finally got it straight after 30 min of retry’s, ok now for install, got it in place and had to spend some time figuring out what screw attaches the left side to air cleaner, you zipped thru this detail in the video . I played it 4 times but it was almost impossible to see in video. I finally took the bolt out of transmission housing and tried the included screw in frontward, backward and the verdict is, it won’t work on my Yamaha because the screw comes out so close to the transmission there’s not room for a washer or a nut where it needs to hold the fender to the transmission. If I wanted to spend a whole day fiddling around with a custom bracket I might could get it to work. But the crappy feeling I got from being ripped off by China made me throw the whole mess in the trash and put the bike back together. The 2023 Xmax hasn’t changed from the 2020-2022 so I’m assuming most people hit this snag?
