This video was spot on. Thank you so much for making our installation A breeze. We secured a set of 6 ton jackstands before the installation so we did not need to use any cribbing. It gave our truck a very secure platform to work with.

Man reading these comments remind me of video game trolls...I'm putting 20x10 xd tensions with -18 offset and 35/12.5/20 nitto terra g2 on my 19 3500 and trust me after cost of those lift kit ain't happening and spacer level kit will be installed. I just performed the same install on my 2019 Ram 2500, equipped with factory rear air suspension, today. Despite what all the different manufactures say, it is compatible. The airbags raised up two inches to compensate for the additional load felt on the rear of the truck. It now has a 3/4" higher nose than the rear. Before it was a 1" rake. The reason at the end of the video you say to adjust the eccentric washers on the swing arms (BTW it corrects caster not camber. You can't adjust camber on a solid axle) is to correct two things. First the angle of the shock mount is way too vertical with the lift, and second, if you look at your springs after install, you'll see a noticeable bow. You have to "roll" the axle assembly clockwise (front the drivers side point of view) in order to put the shock mount and springs back in parallel. I ended up with the hole in the eccentric washer pointing at 3 o'clock (driver's) and 9 o'clock passenger side. It's really not the ideal solution as caster will certainly change, however there's no other alternative. Unless you want your springs to operate in a bad rate. The truck still tracks straight with no loss of road feel or drift, so caster isn't affected very much. Don't fall into the trap with "oh you better get a new adjustable track bar or your axle will be off-center". So do the math.. Center to center on the arm is 39". Draw a straight line 39" long. Make a perpendicular line 3" at the end of the 39" mark. Take a tape measure and put one end of the left side and move it in an arc 2.5" up on the perpendicular line. It moves a horrendous 1/16" of an inch. Stick with the stock track bar, unless you like wasting $300. Nice truck BTW.

Your really testing the "splitting" strength of those jack stands having them blocked up like that. Glad everything went ok.

I installed the rough country 2.5 yesterday. I had to cut off the rubber tab on the rubber spacer for the passenger side. Also, the shock extenders were both too narrow to receive the shocks. I had to take two metal rods and bend the ears out. My advice to others is, marc the positions of your springs and put them back exactly where they were regardless what the instructions say. at the end of 4 hours, looks really good.

Does it sit a little higher in the front than the back? That is always my concern with the leveling kits.

Did this level the front with the rear or is the front slightly higher than the rear now? I ordered the carli 2.5” front coil springs with fox 2.0 shocks, just trying to figure out if the front will be higher than the rear with the 2.5” level

i have tis wheels that are 22x12 with -44 offset and 33 inch tires on a ram 2500. it’s stock suspension but i’m trying to eliminate the rub. any recommendations on how much of a lift or level it will take?

great job showing what should be done just one thing the adjustments that you are calling camber adjustment is actually for the caster, straight axle ram does not have a cam adjuster for the camber. no worries it can be confusing

How much did this actually lift the front end? Looking to do the same but worried it won’t fit in my garage after.

I'm running 35s on mine with a -12 offset and they rub. I'm gonna run a Carli kit when I can afford it but I think i'm gonna run these until I can afford a Carli kit. Looks good man.

Why did you have to drill hole in shock extension?

Add the air lift suspension on the back. Will raise it up to where you think you want it. Amd avoid squatting

If you have to put blocks under the jack stands please make them wider than the legs on the stand and use one block not a block with a 2x4 on top! Ever heard the term "squished like a bug"?

I’ll be installing this exact same leveling kit on my 2020 Ram 2500 Big Horn tomorrow. Just curious what your alignment guy had to say regarding the cam adjustment. Also a little off topic, but my buddy had a set of Chevy 8 lug custom 20’s off his 2018 Chevy that I would like to put on my Ram. I can easily test fit them while I have it jacked up, but just curious if you know if they will fit or not before I spend the time picking them up.

Aftermarket coils are a better way to go for lift than spacers. I know It’s economical to go the spacer route, but buy once...cry once with quality on these expensive trucks. Thuren 2” or 2.75” coils would have been the better choice along with a trac bar and shocks for the actual travel.

Still not the right way to do a lift on a coil spring front end. You have now rolled your axle, and shifted it to the driver side without longer radius arms or drop brackets, as well as pan hard bar. See how your sponge look all funky? Gonna stay like that until you do it the RIGHT way.

This is definitely not the right way. I want with a Carli 3.25" level kit for my 2020 Ram 2500 Limited Mega Cab. Dealership said they would not honor the warranty if I used spacers. They put it in writing for me, that if I get an actual full Carli level kit with replacement springs and shocks, they would honor my warranty. Also it is worth it to me to actually improve the ride quality.

The title should read INSTALLING A LEVELING KIT CHEAP AND UNSAFE WAY. Those spacers are a total cobb job. Never do that to a new truck or really any truck.

Sorry, using blocks to level is not "The Right" way.. You should be installing full length springs and full length shocks--thats the correct way. You should change the name of this video to "Leveling your truck on a budget"

I’m sorry the title of your video says leveling your Ram the right way, I really thought you was going to do a proper leveling kit like Carli or thuran, so do you bought the truck for $50-$60,000, So you thought it would be a good idea to install some leveling pucks and shock extensions that is the worst we can level a truck, it probably cost couple hundred dollars, I would’ve save my money and bought a wheel suspension system that’s going to enhance the right quality not make it worse, I couldn’t even make it through the video sorry I’m only saying this because I have around 2500 and I’m saving my money to get the Carli 2.5 pin top 3 inch kit with the adjustable track bar and I will also be buying the sway bar and the radius arms to give it the best ride quality I can get out of a three-quarter ton truck. In my opinion that’s the best way to level a truck, but that’s just my opinion. My truck was expensive and I want the best suspension I can put on it.

Came here looking for the "Right way." More like NO WAY. I can critique a # of things but first and foremost, your harborFrieght cheapy jacks that you are using as frame jacks are WAY wrong!. And to have them sitting on wood blocks that are BARELY wide enough to accomodate them? I was paying way more attn waiting for your truck to fall over. PLEASE DONT DO THAT AGAIN!. Get some real frame jacks. And if they don't reach, well they aren't the right ones. Stay away from HF to. They will split right down the middle and you will DIE. Lastly, a spacer lift is NOT the right way. It's the cheap and easy way.

How in the world is this right right way? I've never seen the 'right way' including a 2-ton jackstand on top of wooden blocks. You're lucky this didn't fall and you are giving the rest of the half-wits a bad idea on what to do.
