Nice detailed walk through. Especially with the 034 Motorsports intake 👍. I have the CTS Turbo Inlet with the 034 Motorsports intake full setup, with scoop. I have the ECStuning IC with charge pipes also. I actually saw Johann's video, like a million times to install the CTS Turbo Inlet and it helped a lot. I still remember all the tattoos he has lol. Awesome tips on getting the 034 Motorsports intake, to work with the CarbnLab Inlet. I may consider switching to it eventually also but getting a tune at the same time. Hearing great stuff about the EPL tune.

It’s sure did. I’m hoping the 0-60 times improve by .1. It feels a bit more lively.

I believe a pick tool with a right angle or hook shape would have been effective with the troublesome hose.

CarbonLabs has several different reducers to choose from. I have the 034 airbox/filter like you have. I'm assuming the 5" to 4" carbon fiber reducer is the correct one?

il would like to meet one day and check out your s5 in person i have an s4 2019, lots of mods done to it at achtuning. Im in the Seattle area as well.

@@Vaguh how do u like ur APR tune , have u deal with the BRAKE red light on yet? u know the one that indicates u need new brakes, i have!!! ill be getting new breaks and rotors at achtuning on Feb 10th. i only have 23k miles on mine.... so new brakes already is kinda bs lol ... also hows that down pipe holding up check engine light went away? i am thinking about getting a down pipe for mine i just dont wanna deal with check engine lights on lol

@@danielserra949 still at about 9,600 miles on mine, so no brakes needed...yet. Downpipe is awesome. Just put a new O2 spacer on, no CEL yet. The only CEL I get is from getting into the throttle too much before it’s properly warmed up. It’s a sensor heater malfunction code. New spacer should fix it.

@@3318kk nice!!! yeah they did install my inter cooler. i have APR stage 1 tune with APR inter cooler an AWE airgate carbon fiber air intake. Achtuning did everything i wish the car was faster though i am not too pleased with the APR tune

Kill the music off! Can barely hear what he’s saying. I would avoid CF intakes. My CF intake on my 19 R started cracking after 2 seasons. CF bits can go inside turbo. Had to go a different route that does not involve CF.

I just got the Integrated Engineering Intake, it’s super awesome and really similar to Unitronic. I prefer the all in one construction if the IE box. Get one of those, and if you already like Unitronic, get that one.

It's not about what it adds, but more about what it removes....air restriction.

that bottom bolt is a pain. i dropped my little wrench twice in the engine bay.

Agreed I did the same and had to go magnet fishing for it twice also. 2 must be the proper amount of times for this to occur on this install.

@@Vaguh Is it possible to drop in a rag so it won't fall down into the bottom of engine bay? Or is it not tight enough hold a rag

Seems like an awful lot of work to make something fit. I wonder if theres an actual benefit to the turbo inlet rather than just the intake alone. I guess if youre going for that last half a HP then maybe.

There is a benefit. I have a new video coming out with the IE inlet this week. It’s a better solution.
