I’ve been wanting to do this to mine for a while now. My dash looked similar it yours as far as cracks. Thanks for the video!!! Definitely made my decision on getting one!!

The only problem I've seen with them is they will only stay as flat as the factory dash. If your factory dash is warped it will press against the overlay. The overlay acts as an insulator and the heat will cause the factory dash to warp farther making the overlay bulge up in the middle. This was on trucks parked outside in direct sunlight when they weren't being driven. Either way they look a million times better than a cracked dash. Luckily mine looks like it was attacked by a badger and I don't mind.

I bought one of those dash covers for my S10 a couple of years ago and still haven’t put it on, I had dry fitted it after I got it but I was not really comfortable about how it was gonna turn out once it was glued down After watching your installation I feel a bit more confident about tackling it now Once again big thanks JGJ !!!

Man I need to do that to mine, dash is cracked all to heck, I got a good bit of body and interior work to do to my 93 2.8l s10, money is my only enemy on my project lol, all that aside you inspire me man, and I believe you are close to my region. Keep on rockin man, would love to take a ride in one of those bad boys one of these days

Is it still holding up nice two years later

I think mine in the attic is red, pulled from junkyard years ago didn’t have any cracks…was $40 I think. No glove box door though. Plan on doing like black suede with red stitching.

Should have brushed them speaker grills real good first, still see a little trash down in there. Looks pretty good though. Did it come with anything to snap into the little window defrost vents and speaker covers? My dash is in about the same shape as Your's. I have a 1991 SLX Sonoma I'm restoring. 138,000 miles in really good shape for it's age. Driving in from work Yesterday in a storm and a damn Tree blows down in front of Me, couldn't avoid it. Hit it running about 45mph, busted My grill, bent front bumper and the little horn things that collapse in a collision. Getting ready to order parts now and replace everything this weekend.

My dash is all curled up around the vents and right infront of the driver there is some deep cracks and pealed up. I think ill have to do some work b4 the topper will fit properly.

Where can I find a syclone/GT style bumper, skirts, side cladding like yours and on others? I have a 92 sonoma i really want to make look good but I cant find anything that isnt absurdly priced.

The interiors on our trucks are identical except mines sadly my daily so not nearly as clean but nothing past surface rust on the frame and the tiniest spec that just started by my driver door

Looks good, but you should have sprayed the gray parts with that red fabric vinyl paint and you wouldn't hardly been able to notice it at all.

Has anyone cut away any cracks that are bulging up? I've got an 89 with only 87k on it but it sat on on a farm just soaking up the sun! Major crack on passenger. Looks like tectonic plates collided lol. Also do you know how to find a value on a truck that old? Think I just want to sell it since prices are so out of wack! Super nice truck brother! Very clean!

Do they make that cover without the vent holes mine is an 87 base model and looks worse than yours lol had the truck for over 25 years and just finished the V8 swap so it's interior time.
