Thanks for pointing out the sealant tape! I'm having slight dripping at two points, and found the sealant tape in the box. Fixed the leaks. :) I over looked that.

Thank you so much! I am NOT that good around plumbing. Heck I suck at it. You helped to make my install easy and even enjoyable. My wife would not have believed I did it if she didn’t see me do it with her own eyes.

Ok so first how is your toilet tank so new an clean, has it ever been used? Then under the cabinet looks new lol. I figured you just bought a new home an then you said it was an apartment so I was really blown away. I just realized my sink an toilet are not even in the same room. So did I just pay for hot water one but won't be able to use it? My toilet is next to bathtub. An even at the sink it takes a min for water to get hot, do you turn sink on soon as you sit on toilet to warm water up? Thanks enjoyed video.

It seems simple enough, but I can’t get the bolts off to remove the toilet seat. I don’t know if it’s a strength/arthritis thing or leverage/angle … but I’m bout to use the remainder of my life energy to rip it from the floor and throw it into the back yard.

Hey! Thanks for the questions. Bidets are huge in in places like Europe and Japan, plus honestly Reddit was another source of inspiration, many people rave about how awesome they are on that platform. It works very well, and yes in the long run you save a lot on toilet paper. Not to mention, much cleaner! This was in Iowa, U.S. so it may vary state to state on Amazon shipping.

You’re gonna have to buy some attachable thing to lift up your toilet seat if it doesn’t have it already so it doesn’t break Edit: the attachable thing is called toilet spacers

Damn the one step I had problems with was left out. The white tube that goes from the hot water valve to the bidet doesn’t fully connect to the bidet for some reason It’s weird since it doesn’t use threads… it’s gotta be flush against the bidet, then has a nut to hold it in place. I don’t see why it doesn’t just thread into place like the cold water one
@robcacioppo1210
@robcacioppo1210 6 ай бұрын
Hey I'm having the same problem, were you eventually able to connect it? I thought maybe I just didn't tighten the nut enough, so I tightened it some more and broke it. Now the cheap plastic part that the nut threads onto just spins inside the unit and there's nothing to grab onto to hold it in place so I can loosen the nut to disconnect the hose. Incredibly frustrating.

I apologize in advance for my semi-graphic question. What if user has diarrhea while on the toilet seat? Does the bidet's spout get dirty from that?
@cornpop7805
@cornpop7805 4 жыл бұрын
No, the spouts retract when not in use and you don't start washing until after you're done pooping. Water pressure makes them extend when you turn on the valve. There is a little plastic access door, so you can get to the nozzels, if you need to manually clean them. Also, it has a nozzel clean mode, which you should use after every use. Also, leaving it on nozzel clean position when you walk away, keeps you or anyone else from accidentally flooding your house because the jets will just shoot down into the toilet. The thing works great, better than my electrically controlled $400 unit. However, it is VERY VERY fragile. If careful adults are the only people using it, you're probably going to be fine. If anyone 2yrs to 17yrs old gets near it, your house is going to flood. Mine is in my attic bathroom, which the kids never use, only me.
@darcandelaria
@darcandelaria 3 жыл бұрын
@@cornpop7805 really your kids could flood the house with it? How?
@cornpop7805
@cornpop7805 3 жыл бұрын
@@darcandelaria Again the unit works well, but is extremely fragile! If you are anything less than careful with the manual valves, they will break, which could cause significant leak. If for instance, the leak happens in the morning and it wasn't discovered until evening, you could have extensive water damage. No, it's not going to fill a room full of water like a pool, but imagine if your upstairs bathroom leaked 30gal over 8hrs, it would cause some major water damage. Even 5gal of water could cause thousands of dollars of damage.

Another video reports that the hoses from the control arm to the nozzle get brittle and leak after 18-24 months. He recommends replacing the whole unit at that time. $50 for two years service is a pretty good deal.
