I'm a mail carrier and that box looks like it's far enough back, but not too far back. Some people have their boxes sticking out into the street and in that case the post office won't pay for it if it's hit by a postal truck. There are specific regulations but I'm still trying to find them.

There are big locking boxes with a swinging door on top. They're not cheap but you can lock them and also accept small parcels.

Wish I had that one that slides over the 4 by 4. Mine has to be bolted on We wanted to see you dig the hole too.....lol, just kidding. Great job bro.
