If you put these on I recommend you lay the tape down right at the bottom of where you want them to be and then lay them on your car first without adhesive and get them where you want them all and make rectangle boxes with tape around them for them that way when you lay them down they all fit perfect in the rectangles you made out of tape for a perfect line up.

Looks good, I was literally just thinking about doing this to mine. However I think Im gonna go with just 2 little fins on each side of the "Big fin" to kinda match the lower diffuser on the rear bumper

Hey KDM Curt just go mine some of them fancy antennie thingys off the top your car from a scrapyard and make sum super aggressive defuser thingys . The bigger the mod the bigger the boost , errbody knows that !! Whoop whoop whoop em KDM style

I have a Kia Optima 2018. I live in Florida. 1. Do you think the heat will mess with the adhesive? 2. Do you think heavy rain would make them fall off or loosen them? Thank you please let me know, I’m literally following your page just to upgrade my car because you have the same one.

I mean I live in Texas so it gets really hot and so far these things are still stuck on. Same thing with rain. It’s rained very heavily on my car and they are still holding strong.

any effect on the car? I thought airtab vortex only give you minimal gain on gas efficiency and/or reducing drag

These are pretty much for looks only, I doubt they really improved aero on the car that much. In some applications they are probably quite useful (actual track) but this is for show.

Yes these are completely legal. There is nothing about them that a cop will pull you over for.

Did you notice if the airflow was better over the rear window?. Subaru fitted them to change airflow direction on the rear of the roof to better flow into the rear spoiler. I have a station wagon and when it rains I can't see out my rear window because the air flows over the roof and drops down the sides of the car before the rear window creating a vacuum behind the car that sucks up rain and dirty water covering the whole back of my car, I hope these air fins will help direct the air straight back and keep my back window clear. We'll see and I'll do a before and after video. Thanks for your video as well, I like the tape idea to measure out :)

Probably so, I hand wash mine. Those auto car washes will scratch your car up nasty!

Yes, just make sure you clean the surface good before attaching them and they will stick on very well.

Just have to pull, I would heat the adhesive up first with a hair dryer though to make it easier and then once they are off use some adhesive remover to get all the sticky up.

I had a few like that too, you just have to find an edge where you can get your fingernail under and separate the sticky from the backing. Takes some time but eventually you’ll get it.

This set I bought came with a little double-sided adhesive pad for each fin that I put on the bottom.

KDM_Curt I finally figured it out lol. The first time I was trying to peel the green part off and the adhesive tape came off with it so I just put double sided tape on that one. Other than that one the rest of them came off just fine

You just peel that green part off and it’s sticky underneath. The green things are just double sided adhesive pads.

You just have to work it with your fingernail or very carefully with a knife/blade.

I wouldn’t suggest going through an automatic wash with these, I always did hand washing. Automatic car washes will scratch up your paint pretty bad.

Heat it up, rip it off, and rub the glue off with your fingers. You can also use dental floss to cut underneath if you can't get a good grip. Don't use a razor blade.

I mean I guess it could be. Most people will say yes because they are done poorly like spaced weirdly or not in the right areas. But I think if you do then right you can use them to make your car look a bit more aggressive.

You can peel them off with some force and then take some adhesive remover to the adhesive to get it off.

That is a possibility, but if you clean the surface good and make sure they are pressed on firmly and held down for a few seconds they should stick until you take them off. I sold this car and they are still on there.
