Installing An Exhaust On The Chinese Lifan KPM200/KPR200!

2 жыл бұрынHey guys! This is a motorcycle you can buy and have shipped to your house but it sounds like a lawnmower. It's kinda hard to find parts for this thing BUT! This is an "OEM" exhaust for the Lifan KPM200 or KPR200 since they are the same bike essentially. Link to the Exhaust Below! LMK How you think it sounds!

I was thinking about buying one of these but I wanted a little more power like closer to 300cc and im not sure but it looks like a lot of the chinese made engines are either made the same or made in the same factory and there are 300cc versions of these engines so theoretically it should just bolt on.

To be truly honest, if your planning on getting a starter bike to learn on, any of them work. The difference between 18hp and 20hp is that much lol. I sold that and picked up my ninja 500 not long after 🤣

@@rfbblitz I actually ended up getting a 300cc naked style bike. It's really a nice size for my first bike but I can definitely see myself upgrading in like 2 years

I grabbed one of these from Venom for $2699. I'm definitely going to be making some major modifications. Looking forward to a much more Spartan looking Cafe. I plan on cutting the Azz end off and shortening the seat. Wrap it, take off the straps, either straight pipes or exhaust and change the sprocket for highway drive. Looking forward to that killer gas mileage.

I have this bike and I hope that you also removed the air baffle that’s on the air box. Definitely pulls a little better and sounds way louder. Do you have a link to another listing for that exhaust? The link is down. Also… did you peep the 2023 version? It’s insane and a 4 valve instead of 2 like what we got

I didn't know about the 203 lol. I already sold my lifan BUT that's crazy it looks super dope! U can find the listing on ebay pretty easily. It's the same as the "KPR" exhaust

How much power it gains after new exhaust?

I wouldn't say a whole lot, but according to the "maker" it should free up a couple. Probably 1 at best

Oof. Don't scratch the new exhaust on concrete installing the springs. Put them on once the pipe is on the bike lol.

heard you mention you take your kpm on the freeway, how long are you riding at 70mph? Im sort of sketched out about riding high rpm for long periods of time

I felt that way but. My ride to work is almost 25-30mins of freeway. So do with that information what you will. My bike took a BEATING for the 9k miles I've owned it and I have never had a problem.

Quick question! Do you by any chance know if the KPR motor fits into the KPM for a motor swap?

Mmm they are different motors, ik the exhausts are the same, Id say check for forums to see if the mount points are the same.

It’s not a pocket rocket lol. Also that is your oxygen sensor. KPM and KPR are two totally different bikes.

Hmmm well I didn't do much research on the differences between the two, but the share enough from each other as far as I'm concerned. And thanks it slipped my mind at the time 🤣

It's says 102mpg but on average I'm seeing about 80-90ish*

@@rfbblitz thanks , and how much gallon you think it holds , I’m debating whether this or an Honda grom because the grooms average 120mpg apparently

@@josephdeluna4786 well if u want a stunt bike get the grom, but as a commuter I take mine on the freeway so ehhh yeah it's whichever floats ur boat better. Also its a 3gal tank

Sounds exactly the same to me. Money wasted in my opinion. Besides, who cares what your exhaust sounds like?

It is a whole lot louder in person. And is rather someone hear me and know I'm there rather than cut me off and run me off the road lol.
