Installing an MMX 80mm Ported & Polished Throttle Body & Vortice spacer for V6 Pentastar

In my latest Mod to our Dodge Challenger GT, I’m installing a ported & polished throttle body from MMX. Instant horsepower add and it’s just a simple bolt on process. I’m also putting on a Volant Vortice throttle body spacer, while I’ve got it all off anyway.

You used the same coupler ? Or did you had to get a different one ?

Will definitely be doing this next. I got 5.7 on my 2019 sxt challenger with just the mopar cai. I deleted my resonator but don’t think that had anything to do with it. The conditions when you do the 0-60s have a lot to do with it as well. But thanks for the video!

If the spacer fits in the intake housing, what is the inside diameter of the spacer? It looks to me like you're defeating the larger bore of the throttle body.

Great video. I watched it a few times before doing it myself. I have read many reviews on the spacer and there are many haters of it. Have you had issues where it goes into limp mode? Thx

I just installed a spacer on my 18 SXT. It ran fine for my first drive but I went back out several hours later and the car went into limp mode. I suspect a vacuum issue. There weren't any directions for the install so I winged it, the gaskets didn't line up very good. I plan on digging into the issue tomorrow. The only "fix" I had was to plug my scanner in and clear, there weren't any codes but it did reset until I tried to do a hard pull.

I would have doubts that replacing the stock throttle body to a larger will make any HP, without some extra fuel .

That's an air temp sensor, not a mass air flow sensor.

I have one and without supporting mods to go with it there isn’t a huge difference other than low end sound in my opinion, but I ordered the spacer he got and I’m going to see if I have a difference

Full tank and under 300 range. Yikes. Mines stay at 380-405 at full tank.

Get those ugly hose clamps off your red hoses and put some Oetiker clamps on, it will look much cleaner and more profesional
