Programming the Flasher:
• How To Program LED Bra...
Each kit comes with a programming button and toggle switch to make customizing your flashes fun and easy.
Hook it up and go OR, spend some time to easily program the flasher to your exact taste and style!
This Flasher has 3 settings:
Flash Mode (1, 2, or 3)
Amount of Flashes (1-14)
Speed of Flashes (1-14)
To access the programming mode, the brakes must be applied, and then you push the program button once.
That opens up the first of three Setting menus: Mode
Mode Menu
Each time you push the button, the lights will flash to indicate the corresponding Mode you're in (ie: Flash twice = Mode 2, Flash once = Mode 1)
Mode 1 - Basic Flashes, then steady. No Speed change
Mode 2 - Basic Flashes, then repeat of Flashes Slow
Mode 3 - Gradual Slowing of Flashes, starting fast, ending slow
Save Changes
After a change has been made, hold the button for 1 second then release. This will save your recent change and move you to the next Menu.
Mode Menu - 3 possible Modes
Flash Menu - 14 possible Flashes
Speed Menu - 14 Possible Speeds
After saving settings in each mode, turn the power switch off, then back on again to see what your changes look like. Repeat the process till you love your new look!

Another thing to if you dont have an led bulb you can get led bulbs that already have the flashes in them that you dont have to install a module but this module is super cool

Yup, and there’s an updated version as well that’ll only activate if you’re going a certain MPH so that it’s not always activating. That’s one feature I want ASAP for all units. Pretty annoying in traffic.

This would be great for a flash to pass button / stalk for the high beam headlights. I'll put one on my motorcycle for sure headlight for sure (and brake light as well)

What if you also want to power bumper LED reflector led’s AND the 3rd brake light? I’d have to run a wire to each? And is it powerful enough to power that many LED’s?

They should add sensor feature, so when a car is approaching the back of the car or gets to close at a certain speed, the break lights will flash

Will this work if my break light is also my turn signal ? I have resistors on them bc i put LED's but it hyperflashes and it only blinks slow when i have hazards. Thank you in advance 👍

One thing I'd like to mention, poking the wire is a good way to create a short. Back probing is a much better method when checking your wires... I mention this because a lot of people who are novice will do this bad habit not realizing what it can do. Not throwing off on the video or anything like that, because it actually is really good content. As a tech myself, I just couldn't help pointing that one thing out man.

If you buy a unit with higher wattage, you can tee into the wiring up near the driver's door, and it will do the entire brake light system

Ultimately it depends on your car and how it's wired - many ways to do it... Yes - *IF* the switch controls/feeds power to the brake lights directly. BUT - in today's cars it's more likely that the wire from the brake switch is fed into some module that then handles the feeding of the lights, monitoring current draw for broken bulb warning etc. You could use a multimeter measuring resistance (or continuity mode (beep)) poking just after the switch (while not activated) and the brake light wire after any possible modules (either at the lights or maybe on the loom running back probably along one of the sills/thresholds) You'd probably need to extend at least on of the test leads. A continuity beep, or very low resistance reading, and you should be good.

Great video on a product I had no clue existed, but the use of a T-tap on that ground wire makes me very sad. They are convenient, but they often cut through strands of copper when crimped down. In turn increasing resistance and reducing current carrying capacity of the wire it's applied to. You definitely should have just grounded to the chassis ground in this situation. Also, I'd recommend not loosely running that yellow wire inside the bumper cover like that. I would run it back into the vehicle and secure along the factory wiring harness all the way to the other tail light. Cars are vibration machines, loose wires on metal = shorts. The convenient way is not always the best way!

If you end up with your taillights smashed out, this is why. Taillights should only blink under emergency braking situations.

T taps regularly light cars on fire just freakin solder. I know it can be annoying but from my and many of my friends experiences crimps connecters fail all the time unless its a pin style water tight connector. but soldering is the best surefire way to have a proper connection and not accidently light ur car on fire by shorting out a wire. ps i know it should be fine cause he tapped the ground but still t taps often damage the wire

Idk why but the flashing to me makes it look like it has a bad connection. I've seen them on a few Hondas and Acuras and I always think they just have a bad connection

I don’t really care about my cars, but if I did, and had a ton of money tied up in carbon bumpers, or crazy expensive custom tails, I’m sure I’d give zero shits about annoying the dude behind me. While he’s looking down at his phone at least the annoying lights will let him know to look up and hit the brakes 👌

I despise these blinky brake lights. I want to break them out every time I see them. They are confusing attention-getting devices. Do the people know how how completely stupid they look? They might as well be waving pinwheels out the windows and screaming "look at me" They do not contribute to safety in any way.
