I saw your comment and watched the video - and yet I disgre with you. It appears the beam was suspended between the base of the man-lift and the foundation piers, based on the direction of rotation of the manlift and which side of the beam the worked ended up on (moving the sling). It also apepars that the jobsite did mitigate exposure of the bulk of the personnel to the high-risk rigging change task (passing an end of the load between cranes), only exposing the one person (probably very well trained and in a hazard pay role). It's important to note the scale of the beam is misleadingly large, each beam appears to be about 6-8 feet tall, and between 80-100 feet long.
