Installing Ebay Fog Lights! - 8th Gen Honda Accord Coupe

The installation of eBay parts is one of the hardest things known to man. In this video, I show how I nearly died trying to install these fog lights. Was it worth it? I guess. All the parts and tools in this video are not sponsored and everything was bought by me. *These lights only fit the 08-10 accord coupes.
Parts Used:
eBay Fog light kit - DNA 8th gen accord coupe fog light kit. ($40)

It is the car comes with wires for the fog lights on every model he jus didn't see them they also have brown connectors attached to them jus look down in the area of the fog lights with a light and you will see them

@@ryanlusinger259 yes there is wiring there but there isn't a switch in the car for the fog lights, you must buy an expensive stock with the fog light switch. This way was way way cheaper, and it's not hard at all.

Not on an 8th gen, but on an old BB6 of mine, I just bypassed the switch aspect completely, and piggybacked on to my DRLs. Which you could do here as well, so basically any time the car would be on, the fogs would be on. Just kind of an easier approach than putting in the switch if you don’t feel like splicing everything. Love the vid though.

hey ! AT 11:49 your front driver side fog light is sitting on top of what part? I've been looking for this part name for the last 2hr as I hit a curb and now that box looking part is loose. Thanks would appreciate it !

Tips for getting wires thru the firewall ? Did you have to cut ? Or keep poking at it ?

Keep poking and use soapy water as a lubricant:)

Do yours fit flush with the actual hole? Or is there a gap around the lenses? All my screws went in fine everything lines up just wonder if I should tweak them to be flush or if this is the way there supposed to be…I don’t really mind bc my filters behind the one so the gap kinda works just wanted to know these are correct 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

The white wire got extended to go from the engine bay into the car and then connected to a fuse under the driver's side dash.. the fuse should be a 12 volt, accessory fuse which only turns on when the key is on..that way it can't stay on and drain your battery.

What type of coilover do you have and where did you get them at ?

I have truhart coilovers and I actually got them second hand from offer up. But you can buy them new for around $600 off their website or any big car website tbh.

No I had custom made that switch housing.

@@michaelbridges1634 08V31-SMA-0M035 I believe this is the part number. It's called 3 switch bezel, please do some research as I could have got the wrong part number.
