Sweet video man, love the quality. That wheel/tire is perfect. I think a good roll/pull would be the perfect choice

Hi mate, hope you're well. I've just had my is300 fender rolled and pulled. The rears are flushed beautifully but the front still poke out a bit. (Same rims and specs) Did you have any issues with the fronts rubbing, as I plan on lowering it more from the current 2 finger gap between the wheel and fender to 1 finger or 1 finger and a half. I was recommended to purchase control arms/camber to run a more negative set up at the front so that the top part of the wheel and tyre would not poke. But would prefer to run it flush without them if possible. At the same time, I understand that if you lower the car just on coilovers, naturally the factory suspension will cause a negative camber the more you lower it, correct me if I'm wrong here. Would appreciate your opinion based on your experience. Just as long as I can avoid rubbing and potentially damaging the fenders on pot holes. Cheers, Andrew.

I am wondering the same exact thing. I was recommended control arms as well. I haven’t made the purchase yet but I am wondering if I should get different specs for the front wheels fix this difference. Im not sure what to do.

@@xXgtagod369Xx I ended up staying at a 2 finger gap since I drive the car daily and it rarely rubs, probably 1-2 times in over 6 months - a very light rub, not enough to damage your fender. I'll fix the issue and lower it further when it becomes a weekend car. I did go with no finger gap briefly and it will damage your fender on the front but the back is fine. You have a few options here, either go for 17x8.5 but you won't get the concave face on the rim, which I'm real OCD about haha, flare or pull the front fender further out after rolling them, get camber arms or in my opinion, get a coilover like the BC Racing that have adjustable top mounts which will allow you to bring the top-fronts of the tyre within the fender at a more negative poisition without having to pull the fenders further or pay extra labour cost to add adjustable control arms/camber. It does look so much better with no finger gap, but i'm still happy with a 2 finger gap but just not as good with close to or no finger gap at all. Take my advice, do it once, do it right and save your money by getting a coilover that has adjustable top mount, for the BC Racing it's the one with pillow mount fronts, not rubber mounts. This will fix the problem for the front. Also for your reference, at 2 finger gaps, my car bottoms out on significant ramps.

@@iAndre96 Thank you very much for the advice. I’m now gonna do the exact same! 2 finger gap is perfect for what I’m going for, especially since mine is a daily as well. You and I have the same thought process I swear! I’m gonna be doing BC coils, and some control arms to adjust that tuck better. So you’re saying I don’t even need control arms if I get the adjustable mounts? Also is it camber that is being added since you said the tops tuck in better? Or is it flat? Also I totally agree about the concave face!!! RPF1s look way better with the deeper concave and that’s with the x9. I noticed how some pairs looked different than others so I did some research to make sure I didn’t get the ones with the face that sticks out. OCD about that as well, completely agree lmfao. Bet so I’m gonna do that, BC Coils with the adjustable mounts, and then ofc 17x9 all around with a 2 finger gap. I am going to be making this big purchase soon and I wanted it to be done right. Thank you for the help. Also just wondering if you have an Instagram or photos of you car by any chance !!!

@@xXgtagod369Xx Correct, if you get the adjustable top mounts on the bc coilovers, your wheel alignment specialist will be able to tuck the wheels into the fender better on top of the existing negative camber that goes further negative as you lower the car, due to the double wishbone design. This should prevent you having to spend extra on adjustable control arms, unless you plan on slamming the car to the extreme side with no practical purpose. If anything, you might be able to run it with no finger gap, just watch out for the ramps and bumps. My mistake was getting the rubber top mounts for a more comfortable ride but did not realise that the rubber version doesn't come with adjustable mounts. Therefore I'm stuck at 2 finger gap and currently can't be bothered spending a few extra hundred to replace the top mount, redo wheel alignment and labour costs
