I could jump thru the vid for those green beans (everything else looks good, but a good green bean). You know Kristina, I think those flies come with the soil mixture. I hadn't seen a fly all year, but as soon as I went to repot my tomatoes, here they come. I don't know if something in the potting mixture draws them in the summer (they coming anyway), but that's when I noticed them. I'm surprised it's hot in Florida, before Texas, it's humid here, but not that I can't go outside hot , 91 degrees, hot.

I use fly paper hanging near the sliding glass door. We have fruit trees, so get a lot of flies as well. Fly paper work well

Everything taste better on the grill 😊I learned from my mom that Dutch German do their patato salad with eggs.I grew up eating mine like that it's delicious!I have a sm homestead and the flies get bad,i do a herb box by the doors,mints,chives, lemon balm I learned that from my grandma.It works great and if needed fly uglies 🤣😂"stripes".Its annoying but it's part of doing what we do.I have a question as im new as of last week do you can or do preserving in other ways?I ask because I love watching you cook and I bet you have some great recipes and tips .I love that you lift your husband and you live in the Word .God bless you both 🙏🕊️💚

The potato salad is like our southern potato salad we make in Alabama. We also use potatoes, mayo, mustard, chopped pickles, boiled eggs and mix all together. 😊paprika , salt and pepper to taste.

I also live in Florida andhave found if you shave up some Irish spring soap (the regular sent) and sprinkle it around yoyr home not only will it detur flys it will get ride of mosquitoes. Go to the dollar tree and buy the soap as well as a cheese grater. See if tjis will help

My family has always made potato salad with eggs . I don't ever think I have had potato salad without eggs. Yes, flies can be a problem, and I hate flies, too. I was raised on Miracle Whip, and that's what my family always made our potato salad. LOVE FROM IOWA! 😊 ❤❤❤

Potato salad isn't potato salad without eggs 😂,u can also mix both mayo and miracle whip together i do, it is good!!

We are NOT on a farm and are having a fly issue. Friends of ours told us they had someone come in and treat the area for flies. I have bought fly traps for BIG farm areas. Caught a lot of flies but also broke and fell on the ground, so I had a mess to clean up. If we did that a few years in a row, might help?
