I rode the bicycle for a few months, 200+ kms with these gears and it worked very fine. I later on experimented installing a fixed gear freewheel for which I have also uploaded a video. Bhai sirf chain badal ke sahi wali le lena jo front crank mein suitable ho, front ka crank change karna sahi nahi hai is situation mein

I have used less spacers on the freewheel side and more spacers on the other side which led to centre placement of the wheel. I believe the demonstration is available in the video but thanks for taking out time and watching the video... Hope it works out in your favour 🤝

Bhai you can ride a bicycle without gears for 20-30 kms. Aur gears install karne pe chain slip nahi hota hai, tension mat lena... aur pls Shimano ka genuine gears ka set hi install karvana kisi achche experienced mechanic se... Baki sab achcha hoga 🤝

I was able to install the gears and ride the bicycle pretty smoothly for close to a few hundred kms... It is true that geometry of few of the bicycles does not support gear system efficiently but I did not find any issue with this bicycle...

Low frame cycle mein bhi gears lag jayenge, achche mechanic ke paas install karvaiyega... Mud guards local market se khareede hain, easily mil jayenge plastic ke... Waise old school mudguard hi sahi hote hain... BTwin mein bhi mudguards aa jayenge decathlon pe par mehenge hain...

I got them all after market but I would suggest you go with only genuine Shimano gears for long term use... Maine sare local parts dale the is project ke liye, aap genuine wale hi lagana gears kisi achche mechanic se

I bought all the accessories offline (after market) that are not branded. You do get the parts online but they might be expensive. I would suggest you to get Shimano genuine gears only, they are available both online via Amazon or you can buy them from a branded cycle parts store. BTwin gears from Decathlon would also suit perfectly for this bicycle... 🤝

@@BareedVlogs that's what m asking.....front stock crank usually doesn't support the new gear chain...coz it will narrower thhan the crank teeth

@@AjmalKhan-sf4dm I got a chain that suits the stock crank, it is not too narrow nor too broad... I have been riding with this chain since the installation and it's working pretty fine

With a little bit of modification it might be possible... I have not attempted this installation yet but when I do it, surely will put up a video... 🤝

For cheap accessories from local market the cost will be within ₹1000 but genuine Shimano accessories will cost upto ₹5000. If you are installing gears for long duration then pls go for genuine Shimano only

@@WHOSGONNACARRRYTHEBOATS you can go for a local brand gear system under 1k, you can get it easily in any local cycle market. But get it installed from an experienced cycle mechanic, it will help tune the gears decently 🤝

I have not installed disc brake on my bicycle as of yet so I may not be able to answer those questions... Regarding 27 inch tyre, I believe you may not be able to install them on a 26 inch cycle frame...

It's working pretty fine, I ride it almost daily... But in my opinion original Shimano gears will perform better... If you intend to install gears then please go with genuine Shimano tourney derailleur 🤝

Bro I have shown the full process in the video, pls watch the video completely. The frame did not stretch with cold setting so I simply had to insert the long axle and frame expanded by itself

@@ameer.muhammed.s Please install genuine btwin or Shimano gears only. I have used all after market parts as it was just a DIY project for me, Iwill upgrade in future with premium gears though.
