Excellent tutorial! Great info especially given the use of the seals. I will add however the Hellcat Air Filter which is also a Mahle Part LX3482 will outflow the K&N Drop in. The K&N is rated at 780cfm, much lower then dirty. The Hellcat Paper Filter is 1100cfm, mid 700s when dirty. Try out the HC Filter with your HC Airbox mod!

Its a cheap CAI solution, like you said...provides 0 performance gain on a stock car. Avoid the K&N and get the MAHLE LX 3482 Air Filter instead. 1055CFM over the stock 6.4 filter that is 731cfm. I did this mod awhile ago, and did the HC airbox lid install too. only to get the matching SRT logo for my SRT392. Good video, and its super easy.

Gr8 video, I have the 2023 Scat Pack Shaker package, & the first thing I did notice, was the heat signature, when back in the garage, this car maintains heat for several hours, hence the reason I leave it outside with the hood open living in Florida, before bringing it into the garage; So I have to do some research due to the different air flow design system, i.e. an open exposed top filter; The Shaker package, for those that have them, I find it odd, MOPAR didn't include two heat breather ports on both sides of the Shaker to allow heat to escape, hence the reason when I'm back @ my crib, I open the hood for heat disbursement, pain in the ass, but like Dr. H stated these 6.4's have a mind of its own when it comes to heat. One change I made @ 400 miles, I replaced the OEM oil, which is Penns synthetic, 0W40 over to Amsoil full synthetic, 0W40, I happen to have been in the Autoparts business for many years, & road Harley Davidsons, most of my life, which are all (air cooled), the Amsoil dropped the engine temperature by 15 to 20 degrees due to less friction, (Friction = heat); All my Dressers & my last bike an FLHP Road King, where the heat shield placed by HD wasn't needed anymore, that is a significant drop in temperature; So back to my Scat Pack, running with the change of oil, I have noticed a drop in temps, due to less friction. Now MOPAR just authorized Amsoil to be used in the HEMI's so with that being said & not connected in anyway shape or form with Amsoil, this is a real cheap, multi effective way to drop heat from the beast 6.4's & Hellcats. Now to this video, I haven't had the time due to restraints, but I will do my research on this headlight air system, for the Shaker Pac. Again, Gr8 video & you make this look like an easy install, that scares my functioning drunk ass to hell....

What's up bro new in the neighborhood. Basically what we get is a good sound, maybe one or two horses but that if we make other changes. I got a Blackhawks from k&N it looks great and sound great but performance i can't feel a thing, and keeping the filter open it will drag hot air regardless the metal shild. But it's looks and sound great and we love that. Good video.

Where did you get your side markers

The problem with the Challenger is weight. Compared to the mustang, camaro, and corvette the challenger is about 500 lb heavier. It is a 5 seater with a usable backseat for an adult small to medium build. A larger person can fit but it's not comfy on a longer ride. Horse power to weight ratio is the big problem. Things like a cat delete, better muffler, and larger pipes will help combined with an air intake. Bottom line horsepower cost $$$$. The more money you spend the more horsepower you get. Procharger make a oem fit blower, you can also get twin turbo kit. Both will add a ton of horsepower But the standard 392 piston roller kit must go. The top ring was moved closer to the top of the piston. This thinned the top and makes the piston prone to cracking or out right breaking If you add boost , YOU MUST change them to ( what i used)Livernois Motorsports 6.4L HEMI DROP IN PISTON AND ROD KIT. The kit worked without having to balance or check piston clearances but are made to work with forced air systems, custom tuned after the mods are done.
