I received mine today after months of waiting and the controller won't connect to Bluetooth on my phone. Now we will see how good their customer service is and how long it takes to get fixed. Probably going to wait over a month to get a fix sadly.

Yes I did actually. Make sure your "Bluetooth" and your "Location" is on. First fully close your app, make sure it's not running in the background. Before you open the app turn on your night shift first and turn on the Bluetooth pairing. Once it starts blinking green/blue then you can open the app and connect. Hopefully this helps.

@@hugomoto650 thanks for the tips. Oddly enough restarting my phone is what got it working. All the other steps didn't work until I restarted phone. It looks great on my ruroc 4.0. I took it for a ride last night

No it won't stay connected to the app. It still works without being connected to the app but you won't be able to change the animation. If you turn it off and turn it back on it will use the last animation and color you use. You can change the color without the app by clicking the button after you turn the device on.

It only bends a certain direction. What kind of helmet do you have? On their Instagram they have alot of people posting pictures of the helmets they used.

I don't see it on their Instagram. It might work if you remove the rear spoiler on your helmet. I think it might get in the way if you have that rear spoiler on. You can go on the LightMode website and print out a template for the NightShift lights to see how they would fit on your helmet.
