Looks easier in this video than it is depending on your type vehicle. I strongly suggest discarding all the hardware and getting 1/2 inch self tapping screws. You may or may not need to drill pilot holes if pedals are metal. It will save you time and headache! Plus the chances of them coming off are slim to none. ( I purchased a different type of pedal with multiple holes which made the adapation easier.)

These brake and gas pads are dangerous.Depending on the model car one has my new pads were too close on my gas and brake pedals my footwear would at times press both pedals down I thought I had to just get used to them but I was sadly mistaken.I was approaching a stop light and went to hit my brake instead I accelerated right into the back of someone car my headlamp cracked and left front bumper is hanging off the other car had minor scratch and didn't pursue any insurance payment. I explained to him what happened it was an innocent mistake my drivers license been clean for over 30 years.I will start my own repairs tomorrow. I've taken those dangerous pads off my car so be careful with using them.

I bought the same exact ones for my 96 F-150, but the holes on these aren't spaced enough for the existing pedals...

I strongly suggest to buy a pack of mini split washers to add onto the nuts, to eliminate the nuts vibrating loose over time and to finish the tightening with an electric screwdriver set to max torque, just so the tightening is quick and less awkward.

a large metal surface is very slippery so i dont understand as the bottom of shoes are all rubber for a reason seems more slippery then original ones
