In this video I install Seymour Duncan SH4-JB and SH-2 Jazz pickups on my Gibson Les Paul that has quick connect system. I solder the two connections together.

This is awesome Baxter! I've never learned to do any guitar maintenance like this, I'm too scared to mess my guitar up honestly! 😂😂 Great walkthrough in changing pickups, it looked very annoying having to solder on the new pickups to the old adapter. But the result is awesome, sounds fantastic! Great video man 😊🤘🏻

Thanks bro! Yes, I was also very scared to do this but I took the chance and I’m glad I did. Seymour Duncan pickups are awesome and I’m totally loving it. Thanks for watching bro 😊🤘🏼

@@bmas020 You're welcome mate! Ah yeah I'm sure, doing something like this is very risky if you're not familiar with it. But I'm glad it went well and you're enjoying the new pickups. That's awesome man, I have a Seymour Duncan pickup on the bridge pickup on my Yamaha, it's fantastic! You're welcome mate! 😊🤘

@@bmas020 Yeah man, it's great! It came with the guitar too, the previous owner had it installed long before I brought it! 😁🤘🏻

@@JoshKeech nice! 😊. I have Seymour Duncan neck on my Dave Mustaine V and I love that. And now these JB and Jazz pickups are so perfect for hard rock and heavy metal.

Great video! instead of the electrical tape you could have used heat shrink tubing over each individual wire for a cleaner look.

Thanks bro! Yeah I thought about doing that but was not feeling comfortable lol. It looked tricky to use the tubing haha

Good evening, I did it differently, new pickups, new electronics, the cost is negligible and with new potentiometers and new capacitors (maybe orange drop) it improves considerably. plus by changing it like this, going back would be easy and painless.

Hi, thanks for watching. Yeah, I thought about changing pots etc but I’m very happy with the current setup. But I do like to try with all different components on a different guitar though somebody.
