INSTALLING THE BMW M PERFORMANCE HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION ON MY F80 M3 (MPE HAS KIT F80/F82/F87)

2 жыл бұрынWelcome back to another video guys. In todays video you'll be seeing the BMW M Performance Hight Adjustable Suspension or HAS kit being installed on the F80 M3. Like I described in the beginning of the video this isn't a DIY. I was pressed for time with having the kit installed before Bmw invasion and getting the video out. Overall I'am 100% satisfied with the outcome and added performance it has given the vehicle. I do plan on giving a full review of the M performance HAS kit soon so I hope you guys enjoy this video as much as we did making it and as ALWAYS LIKE, COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE!

I heard great things about the MP has kit. I can tell you this I had the KW HAS Kit and it didn't last long lol. Your stance is still proper now 👍🏻

Yea I’ve also heard mixed things about the KW HAS kit that’s why I opted to go with the MPE set and thank you 🥲

Do you have expedience with the M-Performance Suspension for M240i? Is it also built be KW and does it work well?

No experience with that one and I’m not sure if it’s still built by KW but if it’s OEM it’ll ride and perform good.

Hey bro, when you install these MP HAS kit do you need to adjust headlights and steering sensors? My local BMW dealer is saying $2700 just for labor... Bit over priced when Indy shop can do it for less than $700. ☹️

Headlights and sensors don’t need to be adjusted being that it’s OEM components. However it is a very labor intensive job because the old spring and housing has to be pressed off and the new M performance spring and housing has to be pressed back on. Everything has to be measured and installed correctly or you could run into issue. An alignment will need to be performed afterwards considering you just changed the camber by lowering it. If you trust the Indy shop then go with that option but if not I’d recommend bmw doing it.

Do you feel the road imperfections more with going over bumps? Is that what u mean by stiff? Not sure whether to get these as I want to keep the comfort

I think feeling the road imperfections are about the same. The car itself feels more planted on the road and tighter so overall the driving experience is improved. I wouldn’t considered an M car comfortable being that it was designed with performance in mind but if you’re looking to lower your M you will feel more road imperfections no matter how you chose to do it.

Yes sir they do. Being that this is the OEM hight adjustable springs bmw kept that in mind when making them.
