In this video, I swap out the OEM shift knob in my 2013 Porsche 911 for an aftermarket knob made by Sportshifters.com. I purchased the knob, and the company sent me two alternative weights to demonstrate. Because the shift knob is lower and heavier, the shift quality has improved in my car. And, it looks great!

Put a GT3 knob (medium/Sport) with a Numeric short shifter (stock cables) on my '24 Cayman GTS. Massive improvement.

Hi, no, very happy with my Mr. 12Volt apple carplay upgrade! Preserves the factory look and performs great. Very FAST wireless carplay connection that never disconnects unexpectedly. The sound quality is very good and allows for lots of adjustment. The only negative is phone quality at higher speeds. The ambient cabin noise seems to overwhelm the mic and makes it difficult to have a phone conversation. This was the case with the OEM bluetooth connection as well, so I really don't feel that I lost any usability.

Thanks for this video! I am currently shopping this knob for a 2018 Audi A4 (B9) Manual. Your video was very informational. Wondering: Did you keep the GT one, or the sport one long term?

Yes, I still am using the GT knob. I may go back and try the sport, but honestly I really like the feel now with no desire to improve. With that said, your Audi won't have the same linkage as my car and the additional weight of the GT might not be needed. Maybe you can find some forum users that have opinions? Good luck!
