Is this with a tune at all or complete stock? Is this with the catless downpipe and the inlet pipe only or you also have a tune on it? Any other mods? Wondering why it sounds so good. Also, what year is the car (I hear 2020's are also louder then newer gens)?

Catless downpipe & inlet pipe with no tune & it’s a 2020 & the 2020 do sound better than the newer gens 💯

@@Inzane.b58 Yea I have a 2020 and I agree. I was shocked when I test drove it before buying. Was shocked to hear the amount burbbles and it being all stock. Do you have any CELs from the downpipe? And if so, what do you do about this? Is there a way to prevent this from firing a CEL?

Only downfall is that it’s limited to 131 I still love mine it’s the perfect daily.

Some come limited to 160 from factory. A big factor was the tire package selected.

Hello. Just a quick question. Do you have any tune or just the downpipe and inlet? Also if you have no tune, how'd you avoid the check engine light? I have 2022 M340i. I originally was going to get catless downpipe, intake and tune. I bought everything and realized that I cannot tune my car because it is DME locked. All BMWs produced after July 2020 have advanced locks now. The only way to unlock the DME (FEMTO) is to send the ECU to Finland. This is the case with all tunes (MHD, BM3, etc). I am not going to do this so I am trying to figure out other ways to bypass the check engine light from the downpipe. I was told that I can avoid by using an O2 Sensor Spacer, I was wondering if this was the method you used or you just tuned out the check engine light because your car was produced before July 2020.

Hey brotha! I did get it tuned to remove the Check engine light & you’re totally right about the DME being locked with the production date after 6/2020. I am dealing with this on my Supra now haha. But I also did hear about the O2 sensor spacer but I never tried it.

@@Inzane.b58 I see. So your M340i production was before the July 2020 cutoff? Yeah, my parts are on their way, I am going to try the O2 Sensor Space method. Unfortunately the tune will not be happening :( I will let you know how it turns out with the O2 Sensor Spacer.

@@jerryjiang9632 I just got my 2022 M340 and having the same issue. Haven't received the downpipe was wondering if you installed it already and where you found the O2 Sensor Spacer.

@@LB-sh7qt Hey!! With research I have found that the only way to avoid the check engine light when installing a catless downpip is with a tune. The O2 Sensor only removes the check engine lgith for a few hundred miles (multiple sources), but always appears up. Personally, with this I decided to get a high flow catted downpipe. Its not going to sound the same but itll do. Also since youre getting a catless downpipe without tune it is only going to improve sound, not really performance. TBH I have also seen post about having catless downpipe without tune and it being bad for your. I am not sure about credibility, but I have seen many psot sayign that. I hope this helps!
