When I received the package of Snap Togglers I was shocked. I did not know what I was looking at. I thought I had ordered all-metal toggles. It was videos like this one that set me straight. The toggles are indeed easy to install and hold up well. Thanks for this tutorial.

Excellent product and video. The box shows everything and how to install. I've used a lot to install a corrugated PVC roof from underneath without having to go on top.

Omg thank you so much for this video. The tip with the needle nose was exactly what I was looking for. I was having a horrible time trying to live that collar into place and wound up ruining 6 of the toggles. You are a life saver. Thank you again!

Thank you, but rats! There is concrete about an inch into the wall, hence the toggle can't go in far enough to use. I wonder if the sheet rock wall would collapse if I just drilled into the concrete and secured it that way without the toggle.

Just wondering if I happened to missed the hole for 1/2 inch to hang my tv stand, how secure would be to drill another hole just beside the first toggle to install a second toggle? What would be the minimal distance between toggles for it to still be weight effective...?

I have a one-piece shower enclosure. I want to install a grab bar at the outer edges. Not sure if there is anything within the wall of the shower? Maybe insulation? Tap on the wall it appears more solid than inside the enclosure. I plan to drill a small hole above the top of the shower to check for a stud in the right location, then another small hole straight down into the shower's outer edge to see what I'm up against. If I have rigid insulation and a stud, I'll just use large screws but if not, I plan to use your zip toggles. New grab bars have 3 screws each to install so 6 screws in all. What do you think of this plan and have you done these types of installations? Thanks

What does it mean if the screw is only threading when its really deep in, almost to the wall. This is happening to me and it won't fit the hardware/washer this way.

Steven, We only use Inches in the U.S. for drill bits. Use a 12mm bit for Toggle anchors.

I know the plastic toggle comes with the long screw but my question is do I have to use the Long screw ? I need to 2 inch screw I don't have lot room or it going to penetrate through the other wall

Brian Estrada You don't have to use the long screw. Another option is to purchase our HD-ZTOG2 (the anchor) and the HD-CSC3 which is 1-13/16" long. This would prevent the penetration issue you mentioned.

I noticed on the Lowes website, there are 2 sizes, 1/4 and 3/16... I could be totally wrong with the numbers. My question is, how do I know which size to use? I'm mounting a 42 inch flat screen

Depending on your lag bolt. I’m hanging a 50inch and got the 3/16 because my lag bolt size is 5/16 2 1/2 inch

The part that holds the toggle on the wall is just that thin piece of plastic, not too hard to break it with a needle nose pliers and let the metal portion just drop into the wall.

Ok i get the toggle inside, i slide the finger grips back together but when i pull the toggle so i can slide the plate to the wall they shift again and the toggle wont become flush...... Idek what to do at this point...

You have something uneven on the back of your wall. Try turning the toggle around to try to miss whatever is causing the problem.

Yes, you can. I've hung a small washbasin off two of these, although the toggles are only as strong as the wall. So I put some concrete backer board on the hollow wall before tiling to make sure the wall was strong enough.

I have a guy at work that says u drill the whole through the whole thing your mounting and then put the entire toggle through both and then start the bolt, and screw it in until the plastic slides break off

Your guy's technique will work (the bolt head will do the work of snapping the legs off) but it's not really how they were designed to be used. The video shows the method that the designers envisaged. If you want to do it another way that you think will work, go for it!

The problem with these anchor design is that there's a plastic flange that sticks out on the surface of the wall, so no object with a flat surface can be mounted flush to the wall. You will always have about a 1-2mm gap. Poor design!

Agreed, Scott BikeDawg. There may be a gap. With standoffs give them an extra turn to drive the plastic flange into drywall. For a perfect flush mount, use nylon anchors shown here:kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nd-pp9Whs5qlk5s.html
