I really appreciate the older model "groove" accross the unit tu use with small tie-wraps in extereme situations. This newer model doesn't have it so to secure it, that'll be less practical. A magnet really is not sufficient enough for a kayak ride down a rowdy river, for example.

if I am using my tentacle synch for my camera, can it also transmit the timecode data to Instamic via bluetooth at the same time? Or will I need a second tentacle for that?

Thanks so much for your interest in Instamic. One Tentacle Sync is sufficient to synchronize many units. Instamic reads the Timecode broadcasted by the Sync E every time you press record. I hold it helps, Michele

Ok so it "stamps" the t.c. at the beginning of file. Does not "follow" it in real time. Good enough for editing 👍

Hi @peter1820, yes, Instamic is IP67 waterproof. It can directly connect to all Instamic360 cameras with the Airpod functionality and soon to the GoPro12. I hope it helps, Michele

@@peter1820 grazie a te! Documentandomi brevemente mi sembra che la XT3 accetta il Bluetooth per il controllo remoto da app. Nessuna funzionalità chiara riguardo il Bluetooth audio. Spero sia di aiuto. Un caro saluto, Michele
