Hello, thank you for this lovely video. We tried to replicate it, and it came out to be very nice, with excellent skin feel and no micro foaming. But we faced significant pilling after it dried out. Did you notice this too? How to tackle this pilling with Ecogel formulations

Hello!!Can we prepare emulsions like the serum you have prepared here with ecogel without the use of a homogenizer? I am referring to small quantities,100 gr to 200 gr samples using the hand whisk you are using in your other videos!I know that you dont prefer it but a professional stickblender could in this case substitute the homogenizer in case it is necessary?Thank you in advance for your reply!

It works better with a homogeniser, I would recommend that for best performance, but you can certainly try a sample! The prob is this Ecogel emulsifier needs high shearing to develop its best skinfeel and emulsifying abilities. The oil drops are much smaller in size than if you can reach with a hand whisk. It is comparing apples with pears. It is not the same product. But you can use for shearing an electrical hand blender for high shearing like the clevermixx from Bosch for examples and use the mini food for creating samples in the size of a 50 gr batch. But be careful with the hygiene. You have to use it only for cosmetic not for cooking, be meticulous with cleansing and desinfection (70 % ethanol or Isopropyl alcohol), every time you use it. Most preservatives are not able to reduce intrinsic contamination but just to stop the expansion of bacterials and yeast and so on.

With reference to your beautiful in house model for the serum- can you confrim there were no other products on her face and those are the results after 15 minutes? Or have i misunderstood?

I find the Prolevis tends to 'pill' or rubs into little balls on the skin.

pilling is generally caused from using too many products or the use of different products not being compatible with one another. E.g. a serum you applied before this one has incompatible materials with the anti-ageing serum.
