In VLOG #2 I try and figure out whats wrong with a recent find, test out some super expired Polaroid 600 film, and experiment with Impossible Project double exposures...
For more nerdy camera stuff and behind the scenes shots, follow me on Instagram here: goo.gl/QLbLj9
Also don't forget to share your recent polaroid pics with #THCCpolaroid
If anyone has any idea of what might be wrong with my camera please comment! Would also love to hear from anyone who has reloaded a polaroid pack with expired unused film!

Wish you luck on that, the dye packs are more than likely completely dried out on that 1986 expired pack.

+Treehouse Imagery Also, I think I know why the camera may be spitting out the dark slide and a sheet of film. The shutter might be getting stuck so it fires twice to reset it, just a thought - hope you get it working!

It is in a way, actually! After filming this I noticed that it was auto depressing, if that makes sense... the shutter is automatically pressing itself in! I finally bought some film for my 600 cameras, after I shoot that I'll be able to load that expired film into the fresh battery pack :3 I'm soooo excited haha

The film won’t work. The chemicals will be dry by now, they usually dry out after about 10 -12 years.

no need for a bag really, just open the film foor, slide a bad shot back into the pack through the slot until it hits the lip and wont go any further. pull out the pack, push it the last bit and your done. no bag and takes 20 seconds. impossible has gotten to a point that it really is better than polaroid was at the end....the best batches of time zero were made in 92/93 and were amazing......bu the later polaroid reagent would start evaporating within months and affect the film within a year. i have 6 packs of 2009 production date 600 film in my fridge that has been there sense i purchased the full case new, its really sad. i assumed it would store ok, but even stored best case scenario any photos that do show an image are heavily tinted red..............the best bet for shooting polaroid would be spectra/image softtone. it was produced later and with different formulation than the last 600 films. and was created with leftover negative material and chemestry after florian caps purchased the factory......though expensive, i believe it to be the last true integral polaroid film shootable today...and sadly, Fuji discontinued the last true polaroid peel apart film earlier this year, and yes fuji fp100c was formulated by polaroid...2009 was depressing, but polaroid diddnt die completely until earlier this year.....im sorry for the rant there, ill get back on topic ..... BUY IMPOSSIBLES EXPIRED STOCK DEALS, the film is beautiful and ages great. 3 packs for 36 bucks is the way to go....i havent had any artifacts or blank spots where the reagent diddnt spread in the last 30 expired packs i shot..i see no reason to buy the expensive new stuff unless you wanna try the new chemistry.......now that impossible can be shot without protecting the film from light after it exits the camera, the only hurdle i see is development time..... i apologize for my rantish reply, and wish you the best of luck
