Toyops sold Triops, I think their first product. I met them in the early 2000's. Sold their product in my shop in Venice, FL. I grew up with Merle Cohen. Sold oyster crabs to him at his shop in Balt in the 1950's. Worked with him on the National Aquarium in the 70's. Delighted to find you.

Nice video! I do remember getting the sea monkeys and seahorse kit when I was little. I feel bad that these kits were even sold and I bought into it. Seems like a lot of the pet fish industry sells things they shouldn't be like those cute little 3" Pacus and Bala sharks that grow into tank busting monsters.

Fish-In-Flash was marketed at Woolworth stores, which gave it a heavy push in the early '60s (theirs included fish eggs)

Great presentation! You covered them all. Movie add at the end is very misleading. Goes along the name “WhamO”, A full grown fish apears! Then there’s the angel fish and other tropicals. No truth in advertising!
