A machine that turns liquid soda in frozen slushy before your very eyes!
Пікірлер: 521
@CarlGornАй бұрын
Pretty sure the cooler was set to just above freezing. Tipping it upside-down releases carbonation to keep enough pressure, the machine is a small anti-griddle, aka a cold plate, meant to drain just a little more heat out of the liquid. At that point, the pressure is what's keeping it from freezing. Once you crack the top, the pressure is released and the ice crystals start to form.

The plate could also be an ultrasonic vibrator that kicks off the ice crystals to start forming faster.

For anyone who wants to try this, you can do this at home. If you set a drink in the freezer for several hours and avoid moving it or jostling it at all, it may go into a supercooled state - the temp of the liquid has dropped below freezing, but it hasn't actually become ice yet. To activate the freezing process, simply tap the bottle on something. And now you have a slush! Works for bottled water too, but it has to be pretty pure, tap water won't work.
@raged5903Ай бұрын
Could u tell exact like how many hours to put in the freezer?
@KingWoop72Ай бұрын
@@raged5903 It unfortunately varies depending on your freezer, due to temperature differences in make, model, setting, and even individual unit (sorta like how some ovens can run hotter or colder than their display and internal gauge says, with no 2 ovens able to truly hit the exact same temp at the same setting, even if identical models)
@josephbennett3482Ай бұрын
@raged5903 put a cold bottle from your refrigerator into the freezer directly in front of the vent where the cold air comes from for about 25 to 30 minutes then very carefully remove it from the freezer without shaking it then give it a good smack to watch it instantly freeze up into slush.
@Alpha0727Ай бұрын
@@raged5903Try 45 minutes. If you leave a soda in the freezer too long, it will explode and create a huge mess.
@tofusquirrel4619Ай бұрын
You dont tap it. You open the cap and immediately close it to a quick release of the gas. Then you just tilt it upside down and it crystalizes.

51 cents for a coke is crazy when it's 2 sometimes 3 dollars here regularly. Edit: i know minimum wage is different everywhere and that directly affects the price of goods sheesh folks. It's still crazy. What's crazier is a country that owes other countries money still has higher wages and its currency is still worth more. Money is made up.

Yeah, In my country Argentina 1 dollar
@Facetiously.EsotericАй бұрын
@br14nn14 You should look up the cola wars in Central and South America. Coke hired mercenaries to run companies out of business. Just as crazy as the banana murders Chiquita, then called the United Fruit Co, hired paramilitary hit squads to take over the fruit business.

The small ones are almost $2 here yet you can buy the 2 liter for $1.50
@DanQ2805Ай бұрын
In my place, it cost $1.20 - $1.80 for small bottle when buying at shop For large bottle it cost $2.80 to $3.50 Also never drink from food shop or restaurant, because they always sell higher prices, Etc: 1 coca cola small tin cost $1.50 while at regular shop sell $0.80 to $1.00
@Navideno777Ай бұрын
@@br14nn14 Aunque en Argentina costase 0.1 dolar, sería mucho más caro que para un japonés o para un estadounidense porque ellos ganan sueldos decentes, en Argentina el sueldo medio es de 400 dólares o menos.

With Thailand's tropical weather this is a brilliant little idea. For that matter, we could use something like this here in Texas with how hot our summers are, with the difference being that bottles of soda here are grossly overpriced in the US, as has already been pointed out. @MatLCFАй бұрын
It's not that it's expensive in USA, the thing is that they have to keep lower prices in some countries or else no one will buy it as the drink may end up even more expensive than a regular meal.
@viperdemonz-jenkins27 күн бұрын
@@MatLCF if it can be that cheap in another country, it can be here also. issue is government greed, creating high inflation and making our money not worth jack. it has been like this for decades and they always try to blame capitalism so the government can keep lining pockets.
@Bos_Meong25 күн бұрын
expensive? but average american can make $1000 a month even by washing dishes no? You have to get a full education in asean country for that
@bratzboyz8 сағат бұрын
@@Bos_Meong Well...$1000 a month is nothing now. The median price for a home is $299,000 (a fixer-upper type), for a vehicle is $35,000 (most likely preowned/ used)...and if you plan to pay rent, you'll be out-of-pocket $2799 a month before 'utility' bills (also, if you plan to rent an apartment you have to make at least three-times the monthly rent payment to qualify for said apartment). Also, a burger with fries and a drink is now $30, groceries for a month will put you back about $890 (depending on where you shop), and to fill-up the tank of gas in your car it will cost you $4.69 a gallon. So...if you make $1000 a month, you'll be on the street, living in the sewers and eating out of the dumpsters.
