Ref stopped it too early, I would have love to see him get punished even more and get a really banged up face. Would definitely be a lesson learned. But not being me, that was a good call. The guy had no where to go and would have got a lot more punches to the face and I just like it when cocky fighters get karma.

I think the “cocky” display was to throw the opponents attention somewhere else and get into his head. It worked for a lot of people like the Diaz brothers. As long as they show some respect afterwards no harm no foul.

It was strategy as much as cockiness...get in the other guys head ...distraction. The other guy was timid in stand up for it...but he decided to stuff it by trying his luck on the ground....great coaching and great adjustment by the fighter

As long as he’s cocky in the ring, I would say it’s a tactic and it’s kinda entertaining to some extent too. At the end, he hugged the winner and that’s the sportmanship. Good fight.
