There's the keto diet, intermittent fasting, but before all of these trending diets, there was this! Who here has been on the Instant Noodle Diet at some point in their lives? My brother, cousins, and I were crazy for instant noodles, and sometimes ate it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! It even sustained me through college and the fun days of living alone for the first time in my first apartment! To celebrate the iconic "Instant Noodle Diet" here is a parody I wrote to Meghan Trainor's "No Excuses". Enjoy!

I can definitely relate to this song. Having to live on my own out high school, having a son, going to school and holding a full-time job - I had lots of Top Ramen and Taco Bell meals. I would mix my Top Ramen with chips. My favorite to mix was Doritos Cool Ranch with some Taco Bell hot sauce. And when I had extra cash I would buy eggs and throw it into the mix.

When I was an undergraduate, I kept a few boxes of instant ramen noodles under my bed. But I rarely ate them! Learning how to cook delicious food, especially on a small budget, saved me. I'd be happy to give some advice!

I guess everyone sometime in their life tried this noodle diet. I did when i was in college during the dorm days. Its fast ready to eat, cheap and easy to eat even when your studying. Aside from me who will hit replay to watch again.

Sometimes my instant fried noodles are well-drained and sometimes still with little water so it will be saucy. I also usually add calamansi juice and sometimes one sliced red chili. I eat it with fried egg on top of a bowl of rice, then I make a bibimpad style by mixing it all with the rice before eating it. I am hungry. Being living near Malaysia, Mi Goreng is so popular in our area, plus the little to so spicy Kari-Kari (our version of Kare-Kare but is more spicy with curry powder and we don't use peanut butter and shrimp paste), also Satti which is like our version of Satay.

I think since the invention of ramen noodles it's a universal phenomenon regardless of culture when you're broke or and you're on your own. It's cheap and easy to make
