Just attempted making some boiled rice to have with aloo keema. They have turned out “okay” and the rice did stick to bottom. 😢 i think I added a tiny bit extra water. I soaked them for around 25 minutes and added quarter cup more! May be I will use “proper” measuring cup next time instead of chai wale mug 😂

Did u use basmati or sella rice? The quality of rice can impact this alot

hi thank you. what happens if you do high pressure? also can you do same technique if you make jeera rice? thank you

I honestly, have never tried high pressure for rice so can not say what that would do. For jeera rice, take a couple tbps of ghee or oil and desired amount of jeera/zeera and fry till fragrant. You you also add a couple of cloves and a cinnamon stick but its optional. Then follow the same steps. Add in the soaked rice and water and pressure cook. Hope it helps ^_^
