Can you imagine how this defense would look with Bosa Mack and Tuli on the edge and Kris Jenkins or Jer'Zhan Newton in the middle? Jackson Powers-Johnson would be good too, but I think they can get a good center later in the 3rd or 4th rounds. This is exciting guys, they're gonna improve greatly this year.

I was definitely one of those people saying trade down for a corner, or honestly for a tackle. This team needs more picks. Sure nothing materialized for a trade, but that's because Hortiz had the wrong mindset. You do not need someone to overpay. Fair value would have been better for this team than picking Alt. You could trade 5 with Cardinals for 27, 35, 66, and 71. Then you trade 27 with Falcons for 43 and 74. That's just an example with the first two teams alphabetically. But tell me, would you rather have Alt or 2 high 2nds and 3 high 3rds? Right now, those 2 2nds could be Mitchell and DeJean. WR and CB, the two biggest needs. After that, you still have 3 more top 100 guys.

What a lot of people don’t see is that when you have an elite O Line, it lowers the level of talent required at every other position to be successful. This makes your later picks and depth players more likely to succeed when they are on the field. It makes more sense to make the whole game easier on the whole roster than to constantly need superstars to overcome your weaknesses.
@mawile2468
@mawile2468 Ай бұрын
Herbert got hurt last year because the O-Line couldn't protect him. He played injured the year BEFORE because the O-Line couldn't protect him. And we missed the playoffs in 2021 because Maxx Crosby kept beating scrubs like Storm Norton that we played at Tackle. And to top that off, since 2021 we've had virtually no running game. We were always ALWAYS a bottom 5 team when it came to running the ball. Definitely could've used some more Offensive Line investments when Staley was repeatedly failing on 4th and Short. all this with TWO WRs in Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Malik Nabers, as much as I wanted him, WASN'T gonna solve the issues We've had on offense these past few years. I wish more people would stop crying and look at the facts regarding where we've needed the most improvement this year. Yes, Joe Alt was the right choice. We wanted Malik Nabers, but we NEEDED Joe Alt. And historically, Offensive Lineman have a higher Hit rate than Wide Receivers.

I didn't like the pick last night at all. I've thought about it and now I'm good with it. Now we'll have Justin protected and it'll definitely help us in the run and passing game. Now I think we need to go get a CB then a wr.

Soccer players actually can convert to WR pretty well. All in the footwork. Not saying they should start scouting the MLS lol, just that there's definitely translateable skills. Chad Johnson played soccer before football and it made his route running crispy af.

Really? Because thats what the Browns are. Always a great O line and great RBs. What have they ever won? They have ONE playoff win in 30 years because they dont value the WR position. It's a passing league. Name the last power run team to win anything. I'll wait...

@michaelbell75 I see you in every video talking mad shit for no reason. You're either a troll or a shit fan. Harbaugh has actually been to the super bowl and had won the college championship. Wtf have you done except whine in comments? I trust his choices more than your weak comments. Without a strong o line this team goes nowhere.

Only ignorant fans are complaining about the pick. Our run game sucked and was a direct contributor to most of our late game losses. Two good backs and the best OL in the draft. Sign me up all day.
