How do people in the SEC feel about OU and Texas joining the conference? Meet SEC Mike, who likes Oklahoma's inclusion a lot more than Texas'. That's what we gleaned after talking with SEC Mike from That SEC Podcast. Mike has traveled to Norman to take in the day as OU enters the SEC.

You trippin dude!!! This century (which includes your 15 years) SEC has had FIVE schools win NATIONAL titles. FOUR of which have won multi titles. xii got ONE by texass. Not quite the same now is it my partner? xii has been a two team conference dating back to the big 8.

It feels so strange as an OU fan to have to watch SEC channels to hear about my team. Also having to talk positively about the SEC now with friends. It’s going to take a while to get used to it after hating on the SEC for years. Lol

Well, Mizzou has had 8 seasons at .500 or less over the last 20 years to Oklahoma state’s 1 (gundy’s first year). Suffice to say that OSU is the better program, and it’s not even close. They also had a head to head in 2018 where Mizzou got their shit pushed in. Okie light has been a sneaky good team since gundy got there. They just have the same Oklahoma problem that Mizzou is about to have again lol.

@johnberger8817 There's nothing to explain. OU doesn't have Burden but they literally have blue chips 3 deep at that position. Missouri does not. You could argue Missouri's ones are equal or better than Oklahoma I guess but across the whole position group? The guy in the video didn't say it for no reason. He just looked at everyone's roster and saw what Oklahoma had.

@@briankessler3501 Highly doubt that. Burden put up better numbers than your #1 guy that's not there this year. Wease and Cooper are as good as anybody in your WR room. burks and his 13 YPR aint scaring nobody. sooners top 3 returning from '23 are solid after that a lot of unproven talent.
