Instants d’orages - Dégâts causés par une tornade de niveau F2 - F3 sur une exploitation agricole

Dans cet épisode de la série 'Instants d'orages', il est question d'observer des dégâts sur une exploitation agricole ayant été engendrés par une tornade dont l'intensité a été évalué à F2 - F3 sur l'échelle de Fujita. Cette dernière a sévi le 29 avril 2018 vers 20h10 au sein de la localité de Lenne dans l'entité de Waulsort en province de Namur.
Pour informations, le tournage des dégâts a été réalisé au lendemain du passage de la tornade, soit le 30 avril 2018.

en vue des dégats sa rotation etait dans le sens des aiguille d'une montre, son déplacement supérieur a 50kmh et des vents tourbillonnants a 150/200kmh avec une largeur de tube probable a -200m donc f2

Rather EF2 than EF3.

Studio Dewolf When you have a nearly completely destroyed building, it's not welcome to speak about F2 (we don't use the EF scale). You can compare the first picture at the beginning of the sequence (where you see a big building at right) with the moment when you see just stones on the ground (with a rest of car) because it's the same building. Around this building, it's F2.

You mean the building on 0:47 ? Or 1:02 ? I use the EF scale of Keraunos. It is adapted to European infrastructure. So, no American infrastructure. For 0:47 and 1:02, I take E-2. SMALL DETACHED HOUSES (p 20). Degree of damage (DOD) is 6/7. It is still EF2. But was the quality of the building good? Not too old? With which source do you determine F-scale?

Studio Dewolf You can but we don't use that because it's just not right with owner buildings. The EF scale is less than the F scale and we have strongers buildings than in middle USA.. The United States use the EF scale.

Studio Dewolf The small detached house.. In fact, It was a part of the biggest building of the farm but you see just the rest. In case, you can go there to check if you want. You will see that the infrastructure was very well. If you prefer, it's T6 on Torro scale.
