Intrinsic Safety (IS) Earth for IS circuit. This is only required when you have IS instruments
The primary aim of the instrument earth/signal earth is to provide a low impedance path to the noise currents induced by RFI/EMI, which may result in the induction of faulty unwanted noise signals into the analog signals.
Shields of Single pair /Multi pair analog instrument signal cables are connected to this earth (IE).

Sir I am getting 500 ohm resistance in shield earthing with respect to panel earthing which is due to panel erection is on iron beam . How to resolve it?

Sir, i isolated both instrument earth pit and electrical earth pit from all its connection ,iam getting continuity between those isolated pit, is this normal. pits are 5 meters distance apart

Sir, paano po step by step procedure for testing the clean earth system? In our case po kasi we have a design which is 2ohms. and what are the equipment related to clean earth system? thank you.

Sir clean earth or grounding yes the value shall not exceed 2ohm also our project requirements. Clean earth: All earth connections between the electrode and the instruments clean earth bar and the substations earth bar shall be tested for continuity. Clean earth system shall not be connected to any other earthing or grounding sys. Clean earth grouding cables shall not be run parallel with other grounding or power cables. Clean earth pit shall be separated from other earthing pits by distance as per company drawings. Instrument earth pits PE earthing pits Lighting earth pit

Sir I have one fault in my I have find continuity between electric busbar to instrument shield and armer. How can I solve this fault ? Pls help me.

Check your end to end connection maybe some wire connecting field connections and panel connections.

Sir, I have issue in earth continuity between safety earth and clean earth. First the multi meter positive prob connected with SE and negative prob connected with CE ,this is shows close contact. Second the multi meter positive prob connected with CE and negative prob connected with SE ,this is shows open contact. How this polarity changes in earthing.

Continuity is non-directional (PROBE ANYWHERE YOU CAN CONNECT). it's not happening during my journey. But i try checking the resistance if you chance the probe the value is different. In your project is that greenfield im sure no issues, but brownfield you need to check thoroughly maybe some other wire connected CE Take note also consider the capacitor discharge during your continuity & megger and fuse for future can affect your testing too. Check also if there a diode in the circuit. Finally check your commissioning engineer

@@OFWSUCCESSBAYANI Everyone says the same , no one didn't get the experience like this. I am serch in google everywhere. Resistance also same one showing below 2 ohms other one 14 M ohms. Used test device is fluke multi meter and megger . Both get the same result.
