Kevin O’Sullivan has labelled Insulate Britain campaigners “attention-seekers” in a heated debate with their spokesman, Liam Norton.
He told Liam, “You’re not going to change a thing”, and suggested they should go to Beijing and “demonstrate there” instead, given China's plans to build more coal-fired power plants.
"You all suffer from a psychological problem. You're attention seekers. You're all failures!"

I've already solved there problem for them, ready... so they use their own funds to insulate say 10k homes then they start a public appeal to get the government on board to finish the job, they would have 100% public support they will feel better having actually done something themselves and we could get the government to pay for the majority, these people are all wrong

As in, I grew up in Oz during the late sixties, early seventies, (UK now) and we always had a "wet season" and a "dry season". These parodies of spokespeople (saw one with Dan Wotton as well) are in fact turning people against the cause. You cannot ruin peoples lives, or careers to demand change that is not how it works in a democracy.

The UK population is 0.85% of the global population. We produce 1.1% of pollution. By rights, we should also reduce our pollution by 0.16% in line with our population, but it really wouldn't make a difference. If humans stopped polluting today, it still wouldn't make a difference: the climate has indeed always changed, and it will continue to change as we drift back into a Glacial Period - we're currently enjoying an Interglacial Period in a 2.5 million-year-long Ice Age!

A warming climate in the next few centuries is of far greater concern than a full glaciation in the next 100,000 years. Although that may not happen as it depends on how much CO2 is in the atmosphere. It may simply get too hot to have another full glaciation.

I've also watched an American interview of Aldous Huxley from 1954 in which he discusses overpopulation and the scarcity of oil. This BS propaganda is nothing new!
