I have a question, and while your video was helpful and simple to understand, I'm trying to learn the signs of low or high sugar or any other possible thing that could go wrong as, although I'm not diabetic my girlfriend is ( type 1 to be specific) and i want to be prepared in case of any emergency situation

Apparently, insulin pumps are not a good idea for those who have poor medication adherence and "hypoglycaemic unawareness"? Is this correct?

Insulin pumps are not often prescribed to those with poor medication adherence since they are very expensive ($6,000+) and doctors and insurance companies are not likely to approve such costly technology for someone who doesn't take good care of their condition in the first place. Hypoglycemic unawareness is not often a reason to avoid having an insulin pump, and some pumps can even help reduce the chances of hypoglycemia, but that's something to discuss with a doctor since everybody's needs vary.

Hello, I have some questions. 1.Is it compatible for Alzheimer? 2.If using cgm with the pump, will the pump calculate how many unit the body needs at the time ? (Like the pancreas works) (The pump and the cgm are now can be linked and shared the data ?) 3. Who shouldn’t use the insulin pump ?

1. There are no specific reasons why it wouldn't be compatible for someone with Alzheimers, but depending on what the person is used to, using shots may be easier. That is something that should be discussed with a doctor. 2. Yes, certain pumps using closed loop systems can help adjust and calculate how much insulin to give (or whether to stop insulin) based on data that it receives from a CGM. 3.
