Intamin's NEW Blitz Coaster Layouts- What Does This Mean For Intamin?

Intamin recently released these animations from their website, showing possible layouts for single, double, and triple launch coasters using their LSM technology. These coasters feature great airtime, pacing, and some inversions. These layouts are comparable to a smaller version of Intamin's newer blitz coasters, such as Pantheon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Jurassic World VelociCoaster at Universal Islands of Adventure, Taiga at Linnanmaki, Taron at Phantasialand, Dueling Dragons at Guangzhou Sunac Land, and Soaring with Dragon at Hefei Sunac Land. They also even feature some similarities to older Intamin Blitz coasters like Maverick at Cedar Point, Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens Tampa, and iSpeed at Mirabilandia. This could mean many things for Intamin and could Intamin possibly come back to the U.S. in the near future? Find out my thoughts in this video.

@@thegooddoc1335 I meant that these new models were announced weeks after vekoma's top gun and both are targeted to small parks so it might be a response. I'm not saying this is a response to blitz coasters as a whole, just these new small models.

Yeah I was saying the same thing, I think my home park may have a chance. They’re taking out the Sundance theater and takes up a lot of land so we’ll see;)

Thanks! For some reason my voiceover is usually really inconsistent in terms of quality but I figured out exactly what I needed to fix when recording this voiceover so expect some more quality vids in the future :)

after the announcement of dr diabolical, six flags working with intamin again is actually like possible. One of their newer multi launcg blitz coasters (maybe one like pantheon with a forwards and backweards lauch) would honestly be the perfect fit at great adventure

Great analysis! I can also see theses modells being great for the Chinese market. Some of the comparable Vekoma-modells are popular there.

My guess is that this is so Intamin can appeal to all parks. They'll still build big 150-200 ft coasters for the bigger parks like a Carowinds or a Busch Gardens Tampa or a Six Flags Great Adventure, but this could fit great at smaller parks around the country.

The first triple launch roller coaster looks very similar to Steel Tipan at dreamworld, a triple launch blue fire clone

I think the rebirth of Vekoma has them a bit worried, these layouts strike me as being more of a response to the new Vekoma layouts more than any others, i think they are probably trying to beat them back to the states .

@@EliteCoasters in reality after they dropped Lech and Abyssus I think all of them should be keeping a good eye on Vekoma and be prepared to step up their game, even B&M because it is only a matter of time before Vekoma does something big and the days of their biggest "threats" being the Flying Dutchman and the SLC are over and done with now

You talk about six flags and cedar fair's relationship with intamin being rocky like it's a well known fact that's so commonly known it doesn't need repeating... I'm a coaster geek and I have no idea what you're talking about...!
