Beauty will save the world. Ought we believe this claim despite the profound sufferings and injustices of the world? Through high school student Jolene Ren’s personal journey of witnessing injustices in regions of conflict such as Israel/Palestine and Russia/Ukraine, she came to realize her own answer: that beauty resides through the actions of those seeking to tell their stories despite injustice, and those who act as the catalysts for change by collectively uplifting these interconnected stories.
