I still have a sandy bridge 2700k @ 4.5 (and that's with just the multiplier, stock voltage) and you'd have to pay me to get rid of it! lol

This isnt meant for those with recent i7s like the 4790k its for those with older versions like the 2600k.

According to wikipedia (type skylake in google) the intel core i7 6700k supports hyper threading and has 8 threads...

dsid4evr if the rumors are true, switch from broadwell to skylake will be like core2quads to corei7s. this video is just an estimation.

+Thundershock I own a r32 skyline. That 25 year old car can still go 300 km per hour faster then a 6700k.

No reason to upgrade from Sandy bridge Intel cpus are up against a wall only HSA will move forward It is why Intel is frantically trying to catch up to AMD IGPU technology 2016-2017 will be a deciding year for upgrading for many people

David Stanley HAHAHAHA!!!! Great Joke man. Think it's the funniest thing I've read online for a long time. Everybody knows AMD won't be around for 2016... It will be impossible for Intel to catch up to AMD's bankruptcy, even if Intel started burning bundles of cash in their incinerators. That was a very good joke... You should try standup.

this is because instead of making better CPUs Intel makes better iGPUs, wasing human resource, silicon, space, power inside CPU. Can you imagine you buy CPU but there is iShit (iGPU) inside CPU. rediculous Intel. Did you ask who needs 4K iGPU? or iGPU in a performance CPU at all? Or maybe Im wrong and there are idiots looking for iGPU?

David Stanley dude AMD is centuries behind... it still uses a 32 nm process when intel is currwntly using a 14 nm process in it's Broadwell lineup. Not even mentioning the GPUs. Fury x actually is not that all good for it's price tag and the new 300 series are only a rebranding of the 200 series...
