Mein ek restaurant owner hoon .. meri qualification Btech in Mechanical hai .. with 5 years industrial experience.. par meine kabhi job m future plan hi nahi kiya .. 1 saal baad hi pata chal gaya tha nahi hone wala kuch .. mere pas location thi mein car service type kuch kholna chahta tha ..jab mein construction kr raha tha to mere just bagal main authorised Maruti service station tha ..to mera mood badal gaya kyon ki wo market m purana tha .. fir meine released kiya ke on road hai .. pas main tehsil hai aur khaane ka kuch bhi nahi h.. to meine restaurant ka socha aur kiya bhi yakin karna mujhe ABC bhi nahi pata tha restaurant ka jis din open kiya jeb main 500₹ the .. par mein mehnat karna jaanta hoon meine quick learn kiya .. staff change kiya .. mera pura staff bhaag gaya tha meine aur bhai ne srif 2 naye ladko ke sath 1 mahina kitchen chalai .. bartan bhi dhoye .. service bhi ki .. maalik bhi bana chef bhi bana .. sab kuch kiya .. 6 saal ho gaye hain meine ab apni property par lhagbhag 40 lakh ka investment kiya hai .. 10 staff kaam krta hai .. mein daily sabhi purchasing karta hoon .. mein apni seat par kam aur kitchen m jayda time bitata hn .. mujhe apne restaurant ka pura menu banana aata hai .. apne restaurant ko continue upgrade karta hoon .. staff ki salary achi deta hoon unka har chij ka dhyan rkhta hn .. kitchen main top quality product use karta hn .. bahut choti jagah par hone ke bawjud bhi aaj meri market hai naam hai .. bas ek chiz jo mere pas nahi hai wo ego hai .. na hi aalas hai .. na hi mere liye koi kaam chota hai ..

I am thinking about a new type of restaurants: eating-spots in eating-spots, food keeps changing, chefs also rotate this is opposed to current restaurants, thanks to this rotation of food and chefs, eating-spots are more powerful than restaurants, along with that, there is an app, people vote for the food that will be cooked in the next days menu is influenced by the live input of the people via an app.

My dad also runs a hotel.. According to what I see it is a very difficult business. After preparing all food , if enough customer as expected didn't come, then u will have to throw all the food into garbage. It's just like trying your luck for a day. Also another problem we r facing is daily customer does not allow to increase the price atleast a little. Recently we have increased the price for chai from 10 rupees to 12. Then daily customers responded like we did something wrong. 10 rupees was 2 years back. Now the price for everything including, lpg, sugar, milk, had increased. Workers wages have also increased. Then what can we do other than increasing the price. Also in Kerala we can't take extra charge for second serving of rice. A meal include 8 types of different dishes and the price for some vegetables are sometime really high. Vegetable vendors can increase the price of vegetable according to daily price variation in market. But we can't do that.Some customers intentionally ask for second serving because they don't have to pay for it. But they wont have it and just waste it.

You can do same as parle company did to their 5 rupee biscuits means Price is 5 from long ago but quantity decreased as inflation hit.

I have seen one restaurant which closed as there were way too many customers than he could cater to. The customers got fed up with hours of waiting time and restaurant closed in few months of it's opening. It had everything, professional chefs, most modern gadgets, upbeat menu, very good taste, substantial seating yet not enough, and it closed down.

You haven't mentioned about salary, if one don't pay salaries on time to staff... It cost a big situation to shutdown a restaurant.

To run resturent u have to look ... Expert cook, don't change him if he needs extra money give him but don't change him By mistake ur dish turn bad or more salt spice don't charge money for that dish... Maintain quality quantity minimum price of dish... Extra 🚬 area should be there.. Give importance to every customer, ask them how was the food... Tell every customer to give feedback...

Both are required. It's not difficult to enhance quality. Little bit more of food quantity may decrease your profit margin but in the long run your turnover would drastically improve. You need to beat the competitors in every possible way.

Stuff kaisa bhi ho ..manager intelligent honi chaiye tabhi toh aapna yeam khud choose karega..aur jitne team members honge unke pure salary ka 40% manager ki salary honi chaiye ..uss hisaab se budgeting karni hai,, employee rakhni hain..tabhi to dhanda majbut hoga. Salary structure is so important like deciding the price of some products.

Service and speed are the most under rated ones restaurant business. In over seas Indian restaurants, i find minimum two chefs in an open type dhaba restaurants. Owner a chef kicks himself in third stove if crowd swells in. Minimum 3 is to one should be chef number. One shef for 3 tables.

You can’t be fully dependent on zom n Swiggy. You gotta pay 23% as commission to these aggregators. Besides that u will have to pay for advertising. U can’t just solve ur problem by increasing the food prices for online orders as that will gradually get your sales down so u gotta bare that percentage. Moreover you gotta provide discounts, combo offers. And the final point is wastage in ur kitchen. Lol, think once again if ur starting a resto/cloud

Discount ke vajah se mujhe bahut order aata tha after discount 28.8% Zomato swiggy ka hissa Mera 2 3 percent bachta hai filhal Mera restaurant band hone wala hai mere pass chalane ke liye financial condition theek nahin hai. Mera ek question hai aapse Mera jis area mein restaurant hai use area mein offline customer seling nahin hai jitna chalta hai online ke baje se to kya Mera restaurant chalana chahie ya band kar dena chahie?
