Home Blogs of course it should unlock with sunglasses, wigs or a globe, because this is the only "modern" unlock system available in this phone, and it's nice that Apple is pushing towards a new feature that might represent the future, this pushes the market and in the end the costumer wins. But I don't see why people make such a fuss about that, like this for itself would improve so much the final experience with the phone. This is not a revolutionary thing, it's just a new unlock system which turns out to be better then the other options available. I have an iPad pro and a Samsung phone, and my phone has productivity functions that the iPhone cannot offer, that's why I kept on Samsung for my phone, and this is not because a slightly better photo or keeping 2 or 3 apps more open or more vivid screen, I buy it because of functionalities that really make difference in my daily usage.

1+ uses a 100 point authentication system for FaceUnlock. iPhone uses a 10,000 point system for FaceID. So they’re not quite in the same league really. Speed compromises security.

nuyou21 there is no doubt Apple gets copied also yet they also copy others. Apple was not the first phone with a notch...Google provided software for phones with notches to help phones that were already created & for any future phones that will need such support eliminating the need for a lot of 3rd party coding to adjust apps, etc on the screen. I personally don't care for Animojis or Samsung horrible version of it. Also why do you say "Androids", it a clear misconception of a person not realizing that Andriod does not make phones, it's the name of software produced by Google as IOS is produced by Apple. Android software on devices not made by Google such as the Pixel or phones with what is considered a "stock" version of Android are different because they have a manufacturers overlay such as Samsung with their UI experience. Apple does not provide their software so it's only one version.
