that would be really cool. I've been using modular with guitar a fair bit lately and putting together a little skiff for guitar is starting to appeal more and more. I can see DJs or live acts wanting to use things like this maybe without "going modular" too.

I mean yeah, if you get a skiff it's obviously the same thing, but buying/building that and an I/O module in addition to the Rainmaker is *at least* $1000, as well as a much bigger hassle compared to buying a standalone unit.

I bet the display looks normal in person, but captured on video, you get artifacts because the device's refresh rate.

Rainmaker is definitely good fun with drums. Why do you need over bridge to process your drums?

Yeah lots of great sounds come out of this thing easily.

Have to agree looks sooooo complex and is very deep and powerful, but for me that's somewhat off putting.

Hey Felipe, not sure, I adjusted shutter speed with the upcoming videos for Future Music magazine I made on the Rainmaker which is fine. I shot this (and one more video coming in a couple of days) before realising to be honest, but I like the content so I'm using it anyway.

Hey Sunil, at first I felt the same. But it's incredibly powerful and flexible. Just hitting random all in time with a patch to create weird textures was enough for me to want to really learn it. So many killer sounds came out it drew me in.

Hey Sean, to be honest I can't remember. Was a while ago when I recorded this, but only recently got round to editing it. Drums modules will have been a mix of HexInverter Mutants, SSF Entity, Audio Damage Boomtschak and Neuron. Flangy sounds were probably the comb section of this with some LFO modulation.

I've noticed that but I haven't explored that much as I tend to run this fully wet as a send effect.

Mult your source and send one into the Rainmaker and one dry into a mixer. Out from Rainmaker into Mixer fully wet all the time. Control levels on the Mixer as you wish. It’s the only way.

You could stop at 11 o‘clock and and make the effect signal louder in the settings.

I can't remember what he had on the layout that went around the net but he did have some Intellijel modules.
