WHAT IF Chima Returns with New Tribes such as Turtles, Sharks, Bees, Dinosaurs, And Hedgehogs

Chima was honestly my favourite and its sad to see that a lot of concepts like chima didnt last very long

Lego definitely needs to reboot some of their old themes (black tron space, alpha team, adventure, bionicle, etc). I wasn’t as big a fan of Chima, but it would awesome to see the theme return with the hero’s fighting insects and other swamp animals. Their concept designs look fantastic.

I actually remember really liking Chima but unfortunately only managed to get a few sets from the first wave as a kid since my focus was mostly on Star wars and superheroes

I still love Chima. It was one of my favorite original theme other then Ninjago and of course bionicle, and hero factory.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Chima, I’d love to see the theme return someday!

The lion prototype with the crazy hair looks like something out of Thundercats.

The first one you weren’t sure what it was in the concept looks like a wolverine.

Seeing these videos makes miss Chima more and more.

Chima only existed for 3 years??? They sure cranked a lot of sets out for only 3 years worth! I have a ton of Chima sets, I may actually have a good majority of them but I’m not really sure. I know I missed out on some of the final sets but I’ll have to go through my sets one day and see what I’m actually missing!

7:31 this "hybrid figure" style with minifigure legs but big torse and arms actually debuted in the 2012 TMNT sets, with Dogpound and leatherhead, so they were probably thinking of using it alongside some other theme (like Chima here). 19:26 She's not, you're confusing the headress' lion nose for a beak.

Chima will always be my favourite series from lego it was just so unique.

44:24 As someone who loves bugs and am trying to make a Lego bug city as my main project, these are AMAZING!!! I especially love the Rhino Beetle on the bottom left, I wish we got this because I want a Beetle tribe for my layout, this would have been a game-changer for me. The spider in the image I am glad that they went in a different direction with the heads but miss the color scheme, and the accessories for the mosquito and mantis would have been cool to have for other insects not just them. I do wish Chima did more insects overall, I did not grow up with Chima and didn't return to Lego until the Lego Movie 2 line, so I admit my interests are specific to things outside of the Chima line, it is amazing to see these concepts had they gone ahead with the idea.

Chima wasn’t my favorite by any means but I regret that so many good concepts went unused. And since they made it a realm within Ninjago, a brief (or long term) revival would be so easy! They could minimize financial risk by nestling it within Ninjago rather than relaunching an entire old theme.

09:10 Maybe someone involved with conceptual development mentioned that by having fur capes, that would suggest characters die? Not sure anyone in the target audience would have actually cared/noticed, but given the discussion in the previous video re: zombified characters, that seems like something LEGO would absolutely have considered.

I use monkie kid bull figures as my own Bull Tribe😂and basically any Ninjago non-human figure could be used for Chima; Snakes, Fish, Rats, Squids, you could maybe use the keepers for something reptillian? Tbh you can use almost any animal-person from lego's history as "lost tribes", atlanteans, aliens from alien conquest could pass as frogs or squids, the bugs from galaxy squad, the ninja turtles, etc. (Any suggestions?)

I miss this. I still have all my Chima sets, maybe I'll pick up building and collecting them in the future

They have a Lego-style Plovar in the Chima dimension in LEGO Dimensions, would have loved to have him as a figure.

Chima is my favorite LEGO theme. I really wish it did better and lasted much longer.

Dude, that's a wolverine. Look at the colours and the three claws. TOTALLY Wolverine, IMO.
