Eight months after her mentor Andy Jones (Stephen Graham) suffered a heart attack, head chef Carly (Vinette Robinson) is battling to forge a name for new London restaurant Point North alongside her old kitchen crew. With the pressure to draw in new, hungry customers and the financial squeeze to keep the business profitable, the team must find a way to manage their complicated personal lives whilst creating quality food day in, day out.

When i first saw this I didnt like how Dean made the waitress go over instead of himself. I thought he was hiding. But then you see later he actually was doing it to build her confidence and he actually went over himself after. I really loved his character.

Dean was the "Mam" of the serving staff, Emily was the kitchen "Mam" every workplace has one, that one person who's totally pure of heart, and would absolutely look out for you and everyone else at the place, whatever the trouble was. And despite the crushing and soulless environment in which they are trapped, they somehow manage to stay completely lovely and sweet. I've known a few people like that.

My favourite thing is that after this clip Bolton says thanks to Johnny for having his back. Lovely turning point in their relationship. Those actors playing the couple are phenomenal. Really got me to hate them!

It’s a shame restaurant staff don’t do this, in reality they let loud rude customers ruin everyone’s night, like they are too scared to confront them

The only chef ive ever heard of kicking customers out of their restaurant is Marco Pierre White. He reffered to them as 'Punters', when he did season 3 (i think) of hells kitchen BBC. He confronts a diner and tells him to apologize or get the hell out and before you act like a tiugh guy think of the others at your table cause your all going if you continue"

yeah because in reality people aren't being paid enough and the supervisor isn't available to handle the situation welcome to the real world. it's so obvious you haven't worked in the industry and you ARE the customers in the video lmao. The kind that causes a commotion and confrontation with the staff trying their best the second you have an inconvenience.

Absolutely fantastic cast this series is a gem with some of the best British actors you’ll ever see from the legendary Stephen Graham to the rising star of Hannah Traylen this was a part of drama history that will keep you asking for more and if this doesn’t deserve a 2nd series it’s will ba a true crime so come on bbc pull your finger out and get a sequel to our screens I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out to see if any of these fantastic actors appear in more film and tv drama the whole cast shows how good the British phespian talent truly shine in this world I’d recommend each and every one of them thank you so much to all of you

It's hard to watch this because there are SO many rude, disgusting people in the world. Now more than ever. I worked in restaurants when I was young, I saw plenty of sickening people like this.

@@moboy4779 so it looks like we’re both correct. Some of the scenes shown here are from Boiling Point (the movie released in 2021), however following on from this the BBC filmed and released 4 short episodes at the beginning of Oct 2023 as a continuation of the original movie.

So they got their meal for free. Police should have been called to make them pay. If they had to sign in for a reservation, I suppose they could still get reported to law-enforcement.

I suppose just letting them go was the easiest and quickest solution to getting them out the establishment asap. If it were a large party with a large bill it might have been different but I think resturants just take the sunk cost above further drawing out the situation by trying to get them to pay and risking further abuse if police try to get the people to pay.

Really good acting here by the rude couple and restaurant lot 👏🙌. That's why i couldn't work in restaurants, because if a rude male customer confronted me and shouted in my face I'd retaliate back aggressively and be charged for assault! 🤦🙄

I like the format of Boiling Point but feel they could have done a lot better than Vinette Robinson as lead actress, I don’t believe she can really act.

I completely disagree and think that people who just view things often overlook the subtleties that actors put in to performances
