In this short video I demonstrate how to interact with PDFs using the Copilot sidebar built into the Edge browser. I wasn't clear in the video, but you will only have access to the data protection feature if your institution has an Enterprise license. However, the access to Copilot is generally available through Edge for all users.

2 months ago, the Bing Copilot Chat itself had a document upload button on the site, and now there is only a download button for the image.

Hi, thank you for sharing this useful information. I have tried in my pc but not successful as it is old. Then I tried on my iPad but that to didn’t work. Are you using windows pc or MacBook?

Hi Ankurra. I was using a PC running Windows 10. I'm pretty sure that this feature was available to everyone running the latest version of the Edge browser, although it might also have something to do with the type of license your organisation has with Microsoft (if you're doing this on a work machine).
