You can find Xiangling/Chongyun/Xingqiu/Guoba/Yunjin/Xinyan/Baizhu in the background at the beginning of the cutsene.You can also find Yanfei/Ningguang/Beidou/Yelan in the background when the lights were turning off.And the fatui couple can be found together in a scene during Gaming's performance.

To be honest the last 2 adeptus the two who looks like an npc looks like that because they don’t have plans yet to show the original design. They might show them on 5.5 or 6 . They just want you to know they exist but don’t have plans to show them yet. Probably for next lanterns season

In this Rite of lanterns, xingchiu, chongyun, xiangling, xinyan, Yunjin and baizhu appear at the beginning of 4.4 cutscene. You just have to pause the vid in 00:07 and zoom in 400x and you will see them on the balcony, the bridge and in the arch in the background.

Lantern rite is always so wholesome to experience......for me the best lantern rite has to be 2.4 because it was my first lantern rite just started playing the game a few months before it and my luck was crazy during that time..... it was shenhe, xiao, zhongli and ganyu I think and I got xiao,shenhe and zhongli 3 of them in like 40 - 50 wishes max....that was the craziest my luck has ever been and at that time I didn't even realize until much later how lucky I was....I didn't understand the pity system at all or how rare it was to get the characters like that.... I just thought it was normal to get 5 stars so easily considering I also got jean in my first 20 wishes in the game....my early game was decked out man 4 five star characters before I hit ar45 it was so cool..... and now I loose pretty much every 50/50 😂😭

@@muhammadfandi6206Can't blame you , but in fact all of them are in the cutscene, it's just that some became Finding Waldo/ just an easter egg characters. So a suuuper zooming in is needed. At 0.07s, at the beginning, you'll spot Chongyun, Xingqiu (new outfit), and Xiangling at the bridge (the farthest one); just across them, on the other side of that bridge, there's Xinyan and Yunjin. Below, standing at the archway to Bubu Pharmacy you'll spot Dr. Bai. At 0.48s just the moment when the lanterns' light goes out, at the veranda of Feiyun Commerce Guild (green roof building) you'll spot Beidou, Yanfei, Ningguang and Yelan.

In the current Lantern Rite (4.4) you can actually find the Fatui Couple by the main concourse near the orange Lantern Rite platform, where they're talking about making kites. So maybe they're not shown in the cinematic, but they did go together.

I still don't understand why ppl still criticize the npc model of adeptus. From story perspective, this form is the first time they use, and they also suppose that xianyun will not recognize them when being caught kitting. It means that even if they transform to humans before, their forms are not these ones. (it is confirmed that adeptus can transform into many humans form, even morax has tales from citizens about female form). From marketing perspective, this year lantern rite is about xianyun, they can always create another quest and event for these two later (because for now these two have not taken any major part in story) and public their design. Madam ping is the most fit sample.

This year theme of Liyue Lantern Rite are "Grown up and Parenting".That's why they are highlighting Gaming family drama story and Xianyun story about moving into Liyue Harbor because she is feeling lonely being apart from her "daughter"😂.Dunno about next year,if they somehow making the theme of Lantern Rite being traditional music and nostalgia i think it is the appropriate time to release Madame Ping.

I think the relationship between Ying'er and Timaeus only escalates in windblume, maybe there is a reason Timaeus didn't come to Liyue to visit her, either busy for alchemy research, or he broke up with her, hopefully that's not gonna happen because I strongly rooting for both of them. We got little interactions this year from the gang, cept for the adeptus and a couple others. Hu Tao didn't say a word and ningguang was just mentioned, the other 4 stars, apparently they were expensive or forgotten since they weren't even in the background. Still happy lantern rite!

The fatui couple met after the events of the main scene though. They were at the docks talking about making a kite together so it's safe to assume they had a late date or managed to meet up eventually. Good for them. But honestly, I was waiting for Timeus to show up but he didn't. Made me sad when I saw her waiting there. Also, I was expecting Xinqiu but guess he was not popping up for this Lantern Rite. Maybe they have a hangout coming out soon for him? In Chenyu Vale perhaps? Another disappoinment is not finding Zhongli among the NPCs in or out of the Harbor. 😭

On 1.3 my AR was too low for the event and I didn't have much time to play because of the work. Then I stopped playing after 2.0 and resumed only at 3.3. Missed 3.4 event because of that (the conditions were not met). 4.4 was literally the first lantern rite event I was able to play, even though I've been playing since 1.1. It feels really frustrating to realize how much of beautiful content I've missed...

We can actually see Xingqiu, Chongyun and what I believe to be Xiangling and Guoba for a second during the 4.4 cutscene flying kites together. You can barely see them though, sonce they are a bit covered by the crowd.

I should of had the voice on Japanese. Megamine's VA and the English was horrible! Also still mad at Mihoyo for preventing me from finishing 1.3 ! Damn granny was in her village, but stuck behind a mission wall!! And finally, SPOILERS TAG ! 😢

It’s so fun to see the characters grow through the years, and also it’s not just me right? THEYRE CUTSCENES KINDA GOT BETTER lighting and animation wise. Looks way cleaner now, but Lantern Rite Cutscenes have always been amazing anyway :D It’s crazy to think this is our fourth Lantern Rite! For everyone who has been playing forever, as well as me, ITS CRAZY HOW LONG ITS BEEN AND HOW MUCH WE REMEMBER! Genshin is basically a part of us now, we’ve grown with it and it’s crazy how invested we can get lol. But it’s also such a beautiful thing because it’s something to look back on as well and to see how everything has grown.
