Interesting Round "Star Trek" elevator @ Farmers Market Parking Deck Jamaica NY

(8-26-2014) I do NOT know what kind this is. Somebody else said it was a Dover but upon discovering the fixtures and interlocks, I am not sure. It definitely has some issues as it went up to R and came back down with out opening.

I like the way the indicator is curved. In canterbury there was a H+C (Dover) lift that over runs the floor then sinks back down to the right place. The one at canterbury does this because the slow down switch has broke so it is going full speed onto the floor switch where it doesn't stop in time. In England, most circular lifts are built by Schindler.

Reminds me of the one at NGV in Melbourne. This one is a lot larger and more scenic though.
